I Tested Wrenches From WISH | Wish Wednesday 

Ive been using a set of aliexpress ratcheting spanners for 4 years now at work as i dont like bringing my good tools knowing they wont replace them if they broke. The cheap aliexpress spanners have been flawless and have surprised me so much for the £26 i paid for a set from 6mm to 19mm and the 19mm gets the most abuse also

Watching Tyler struggle with that strut while there's 2 clamps not being used on the same table was hilarious.

That red one with swinging jaw is like a basin wrench. We use basin wrenches a lot in plumbing. Used to get up underneath kitchen sinks or hard to reach spaces. Life savers in the plumbing world 🤷‍♂️ this one is shaped a little differently but, same concept.

I bet that third one would work really well for pipes and fittings. I've seen vintage pipe wrenches like that.

The floppy jaw rubber handle "wrench", if you get a decent quality one, are surprisingly good for getting off rounded bolts as it's basically a pipe wrench. Work for small pipe to but it will Crack the thin jaws and is a royal pain in the asz to use.

The last one is basically the magic wrench from a few years ago

Tyler, if you drove a FORD you'd have A TON of 10mm to work on. 10mm is like, the most used socket when i'm working on my FORD. But if you drove a FORD you'd be working on it every damn day

That 3rd wrench basically works on similar basis of a basin or sink wrench.

I played a drinking game that the Only Rule is everytime Tyler says the word "like" you drink. I ended up calling in the entire week

I think the flat wrench would work well for farm fence building and repairs. It would fit in between tight posts, work on partially rounded bolts, and such.

Magic wrenches are fantastic. I've used them so many times on stubborn or hard to get to bolts. (The claw type one)

the first wrench, the one that is simple, might be useful to hang on a oil tub for the drain plugs

Anything threaded into wood is easy. Threaded into metal is where the fun begins. Try 20 year old exhaust manifold bolts. Or anything under a cars hood. Good video for reference tho!

The flat bar is what I carry strapped to my bicycle for just general repairs. Year later still holding up great.

The best part is that they are easy to use, not at all finicky or slow. Plus the bonus of never scratching the surrounding surfaces or busting knuckles. LOL!

You know Tyler, you keep mentioning about how you're afraid of busting up your knuckles and things like that, but have you ever thought about getting a pair of *Mechanix Gloves* ? And no, I'm not trying to advertise here, I'm just simply saying those things work really good for in terms of at least taking off the worst of the impact from your knuckles, and it saved me a few times while I'm trying to deal with trailer doors

Universal wrenches suck until that's what is in the kitchen drawer saving you a trip to you basement or shed to get a real wrench. I don't think they're good for much other than the occasional usage.

That flappy one looks like it would be good for pipe fittings.

I have a set like the one with the hooks, but much better quality. They're great for rounded off nuts and bolts. They kind of work like a pipe wrench with the more force you push on them, the tighter they grip the nut or bolt.

Ya I have seen them and knew they can do something but the thing tou would use it for like as an emergency tool but in that case something is probably rusty and tight and it's going to let you down when you need it but it's probably better than nothing

These arent tools that you use every day ... or even ever. They're emergency tools that you throw in a purse or glove box 'just' in case an emergency comes up and you NEED them.

You should either look into just buying a decent bench vice or trying the cheapest ones you can find and keep the winner. I noticed you struggling to hold that pole while turning the wrenches

I have one like the rattly one but that is spring loaded so it basically ratchets, works well for light work. But I would rather a socket for anything heavy.

The red one is great tie rod adjustment wrench I have the same thing in my box

i have both of those types of wrenches...they've been around for a century...like any tool it's a matter of the quality...the ones i have are fortunately very good quality

Those "multi size" wrenches can be useful for when the head is already chewed up and normal tools won't fit as well.

Causing the bolts amd nuts to be distorted means needing for the ships force to carry even more spares, and the number of spares carried to replace avoidable damage to the nuts , bolts and other fasteners can quickly bcome unsupportrable, untenable and rediculously expensive.

It's like Project Farm, but bring it down to the level. "Can we break tools?"

I actually have that red handle multi wrench tool. Works better than some cheap pipe wrenches. I bought it as an all in one camping tool in a pinch. I do like your bottle cap opener multi wrench better. Easy to pack and perfect for those random fixes on the road, hiking, biking and more.
