@thuo1000 go a look at all of the matches that Grealish and Silva played together as a winger in the pl... we drop points in most of them... silva is not a winger
@Worldfootball-il1di True, but that was when De Bruyne was doing the playmaking in the middle. Silva himself doesn't pose any attacking threat. Have you watched the Newcastle game? Not once he tried to dribble past the defender, nor tried to hoist a cross. He'd just tip toe and then pass it back to Walker/Lewis.
Arsenal obstructed your keeper, they sent two guys in to obstruct him so he couldn’t reach the header. It happened against Tottenham too. Play it back and you’ll see, It was a well drilled plan. Unfortunately it looks like obstruction is no longer a foul. Check it for yourself, 2 points lost because of a referee incompetence
Pep does sometimes over think, he sometimes ties himself up in his own tactical knots. The demoralising defeat in Leon a few years ago, then the defeat to Chelsea in the 2021 CL final when all season he played with one or two CDM, then didn’t play either, but then played Gundo there who was top scorer that season from his usual forward attacking position and compounded that by playing Sterling whose form was dreadful, but hey who are we to question one of the greatest managers ever?
