Been a lifelong fan since 1997, but this right here, is the worst loss ever. I’m finished. Won’t pick a new team because I’m loyal, but I’ll never believe in this team or franchise again. Fire McCarthy, fire Quinn, trade Dak, whatever.. it doesn’t matter, we will never win anything. Jerry made a deal with the devil in the 90’s I assume. It’s over.
It's starts with Jerry Jones. He wants a "yes" man. Jimmy Johnson was the last coach that lit a fire under everyone's ass. He led a championship team. Jerry needs to hire a coach and sit back and do his business. Hire a coach who doesn't take any shit. But we're talking about Jerry Jones here....🤷♂
That's crazy talk and I'm assuming you know better. we got outplayed the fact of the matter is they rolled into zone or zone match coverage Dak is better against man most quarterbacks are and we got beat as far as the future of McCarthy Quinn I mean it's kind of on Quinn because the second half we played better on offense but honestly I think McCarthy and Quinn need to go and I love Dak But this keeps happening. This team from top to bottom has to many quiters and I cannot support that. If it were an anomaly that's one thing but it's a systemic problem with this organization. Yes. I totally agree. Prescott should have been gone years ago. However, until Jery Jones sells the Cowboys, we will continue to lose in the playoffs. It is all on him. He has been the common denominator of the Cowboys failure since the last time we made the Super Bowl in 1996.
No killer instinct, Lack of discipline, Poor coaching and all around getting our tails kicked in every phase of the game. It’s tough to see this and not be in melt down mode. You touched on establishing some kind of running game and get some head busters on defense. McCarthy and Quinn have to go. It all starts with Jerry Jones. He is the ringleader of the clown show. As a lifelong Cowboys fan and I’m 65, I am with you. I’m not upset, I’m very frustrated with the same old crap every year. I’m tired of the preseason hype and the seasons that unravels as it goes along. I can take a loss, but this one was a beat down. Congrats to Green Bay, they knew exactly how to play us. I’m going out back and burning all my Cowboys gear! Good luck Jerry in finding a way to turn this rudderless ship you built.
We used to have jokes in Green Bay back in the losing era. I.e. would the lady that left her 11 kids at Lambeau please come pick them up, they are beating the packers 21-0. Stuff like that. It was decades of mediocre playoffless depression. But we stood by our team and it paid off. Hang in there guys
I’ve been a fan since 75 and I have always supported them. God sake I have had season tickets since 2006 and I live in Las Vegas but this was the last straw I am 55 I can’t take this I love them but it’s not worth a heart attack.

I am gonna cheer for my 2nd favorite team from Baltimore now, and win or lose I will not spend another dime on Cowboys merchandise until Jerry Jones either fires himself or bites the dust. Dallas doesn't have a Jimmy Johnson curse , it's a Jerry Jones curse.

Agree! Love had receiver's wide open and no cowboy in the camera. WR can not get open. Dak has to throw dimes every pass play. Scheme sucks with no run game. Cowboys defense is horrible Parsons must get traded like Herschel Walker. His sacks and pressures are useless.
I saw this coming. I knew we didn't have anything after the Buffalo loss, the Miami loss and the win (that should have been a loss) against Detroit. Lifelong fan here. This ineptness has worn me down. Slowly trying to ween myself from putting so much emotion into these Cowboy teams. I like Dak but Daks' not the one to get us thru the playoffs and on to a Super Bowl.

I was a Houston Oilers fan when I was young and watching them do good and all season long and then just get their teeth kicked in in the playoffs and hear all the hype when it came to the playoffs and watched them lose over and over again and then to hear Bud Adams come back and start screaming. He wanted a new stadium, I remember saying I will help you pack to leave you son of a gun. Well, Bud Adams left and I started looking for a new team and one day flipping through the channels. I landed on Green Bay and I can’t remember if it was New England, but it was a very first game. Brad Farb got shoved into the game and I’ve been a Packer fan ever since. So exciting to see a new beginning for the Packers because literally this is a new team new quarterback, new receivers all these rookies all over the place with a new coach so sometimes man, you just gotta finally say enough enough and find another team because I’m telling you that Prescott is not a Super Bowl quarterback. He is a journeyman type quarterback that’s it that’s all he’s ever going to be regular season type quarterback, but chokes in the playoffs. He only likes to look at one receiver. He locks in on him and that’s why he gets picked off.

Winning doesn’t mean anything then if you’re a bandwagon man. Anybody can just root for the top team but what does that matter? You have zero loyalty to your city and your local community. Not going through the hard times and then finally getting that payoff when your team accomplishes something. That’s what being a sports fan is all about. Sure, it sucks at times when you lose big games or have bad seasons. But I would rather stop watching the sport all together than rooting for another team.
Wild to think about the fact that half the team will be standing in front of Jerry Jones this offseason demanding to get paid. Micah will want to be the most earning defensive player, Lamb, Prescott, Pollard,... You won't get abetter roster than this year. And while much blame can be put on the coaching, I'm convinced by 3 consecutive chokes in the playoffs that this roster won't get it done with any coach.

I am pissed and shocked beyond belief. This is worse than the #1 seed playoff losses at least those teams showed some kind of life and guts. This was nearly reminiscent to the 44-6 Eagles loss in 2008 I haven't been this shocked since then. Mike has to go, and I wouldn't extend Dak if he plays like this in the playoffs 4 years in a row next season then burn the whole thing down and start over

I stopped taking NFL too seriously over the past decade and I’m enjoying it much more. I got tired of being so emotionally and financially invested in something I have no control over. As a Bills fan I’m an expert at living with disappointment and I just flat out got tired of it. The NFL is like a roulette table but with 32 numbers instead of 36 and if you only have money on 1 number you could be standing there for a very,very long time waiting for your number to come up.
I never want to hear anything bad about MLF or Joe Barry again! This was an A+ performance both sides of the ball! Green Bay was just more aggressive. MLF made Jones run it & nothing was done to contain him, then you had wide open TDs to Musgrave and Gilmore was getting played like he was in HS! Great play calling and execution by Green Bay!
Gilmore is old and slow and the defense uses safeties as linebackers, linebackers as ends and ends as defensive tackles in a wide 9 formation. In short, light in the ass dudes in a formation that gives up 2 or 3 giant run lanes. But congrats to Greenbay for using San Francisco's scheme to destroy that front and take play action shots. It's the recipe to destroy the dallas defense and I could figure it out on madden.

I am done with the Dallas Cowboys, I won't change teams, NO! This game determines my faith in the Dallas cowboys in the future. After this loss, I have lost all faith in the team, they can't win against good teams, they can't keep a balanced offense, they can't even win on the road. And the cherry on top, they were so many games they should NOT HAVE LOST. This is unacceptable, it's embarrassing for me. I'm entering rebuild mode, I'm done with the Dallas Cowboys until I have a good reason to watch them again.

Everybody was so high on Dan Quinn before this game. He had to have known that the performance of the Cowboys defense this playoff game was likely going to determine whether he was a head coach again in the NFL... obviously a lot of accountability has to go to the players but I'm just stunned, as neither a Cowboys or Packers fan, at the performance of the Dallas defense which was Revere all season long by Cowboys players and opponents alike

The bad part about sports is that the fans think that ownership has the same mindset as they do - but they don't and Jerry Jones is the perfect example of that. Please don't take this as intending to disrespect the Dallas fans because I am not; I am a Panthers fan and you see what that ownership did over the last 2 seasons. Just take a moment to step away from fandom and take another look. The Cowboys have not won a Super Bowl since the 90s. Jerry tried after that to try to win another, but couldn't. But during that time, guess what Jerry still saw - that he was making money each year. He figured out that all he had to do was to say that he was all about winning a Super Bowl and the fans would support him financially. Many ownerships in the sports world have figured this out and make no effort to win anything; they are only concerned with their yearly goal: to increase profits. Because some owners know that every team can not win a championship in their respective sports. Think about it, what fan would authorize to keep a staff after going 8 - 8 season after season; but Jerry did. And Jerry will never give up being general manager because a new general manager would come in with the mindset of trying to win. But that would damage Jerry's estimated profit margin because that general manager would be willing to pay top-dollar to get top-dollar talent to change the nucleus of the team. So as long as Dallas keeps the same general manager, nothing will change. Jerry will still sell the same bill of goods but just say that it is something different.
I keep saying, 'nah, I am not watching them again', yet time and time again I go back. This is by far the most embarrassing loss I have witnessed as a Cowboy fan. To hear that this team was NOT prepared is unacceptable. This time I am done because the situation is not going to change. More of the same year after year.

I feel sorry for all Cowboys fans who are 29 years old or younger. All I can say, it was awesome seeing Dallas play in their last SB on SB Sunday. I think I won’t ever see that again in my lifetime. Reality has set in and I’ve looked in the mirror and finally comes to grips with it. Next season, if Dallas goes 17-0 in the regular season, #1 seed in the NFC playoffs, I’m still not getting hyped up because they will let you down at a moment’s notice. I will just forever stay humble and simply not get my hopes up.

I’ve been a cowboy fan since 1976 when we lost against the Steelers 35-31 in the Super Bowl. I’ve seen a lot of games, and nothing surprises me about how the NFL has changed. We are now paying for streaming apps to watch football games like peacock, Amazon prime, and RU-vid. Now we as fans have to deal with fanduel & draftkings. As well as these bookies have appeared since now we as fans can bet on the betting apps. I saw my cowboys beat a team so easily last week, and then play Green Bay with such difficulty. Now the defense doesn’t show up, offensive line can’t protect Dak, and receivers aren’t getting separation. Doesn’t seem right to me. It just looks fishy to me. Even the commentators were saying something doesn’t seem right with the cowboys. I agree, it’s all about the money, Bookies getting paid, and maybe some players may be getting paid, ceedee lamb doesn’t drop balls all year, then in this game, nobody shows up, I don’t know, but cowboys didn’t look like the cowboys. Maybe those betting apps have something to do with our loss, it just doesn’t happen to a 2 seed team.
I am a packer and cowboy fan. Like you, my brother is pissed. McCarthy will take you to the edge every year. Redo every phase of this team. We were stuck with Rodgers for the past 3 years. He would take us to the edge then collapse. He is the jets problem now I think the players have to love their coach, and believe in each other. Hang in there!

The Lionshare of the blame goes to Dan Quinn, we got exposed weeks ago in Buffalo for having undersized safeties (Markese Bell) and (Donovan Wilson) playing LB and in the Box, as well as having our CB’s playing 15 yards off the ball regardless of the down, and Dan Quinn has done absolutely nothing about it all season, how do you justify not making in-game adjustments when the season is on the line like WTF 🤬

Our vulnerabilities were evident back to training camp. We dont control the line of scrimmage consistently. Thus we don’t run well and we get run on. Seen it before, will see it again. Reload via the draft ( a beastly RB would be nice too),we get #7 back, a FA addition here or there and we will be back in the mix. Winning it all is special, and we just didn’t have it this year. Address it next year, or start over… for what that is worth.
They just keep teasing the fans year after year. When you win 12 games three consecutive seasons, and not make it to the conference championship game, that's a monumental failure. I don't know what to say, Shango. They're pretenders. The entire culture needs to change.

I have been a Cowboys fan since September 18, 1966. I was 12 years old. I'm 69 now. When the Packers got up 14 - 0, I stopped watching the game. I have seen that movie before. The defense has been porous all year. No sacks + no turnovers + inability to stop run = loss. It didn't matter what we did offensively, Dan Quinn and his defense had no idea how to stop Jason Love and company. They were going to score at will. Regarding the offense, we have 3 All-Pros on the offensive line but cannot consistently run the football. There is a lot of blame to go around, including Dak, but that team was not prepared to play Sunday. That is on the coaching staff. Why do we keep players that make dumb penalties? Dallas has a culture problem and has had for years. That is why it has been 23 years of futility. When you have the same results no matter who coaches the team or who plays for the team...it's the culture.
I have said many times, they need a power RB like a Leonard Fournette and a stronger WR. Lean Pollard cannot be your main guy, he is not strong enough.
Your defense, is fast but small, so EVERY YEAR, once the playoffs start, your Defense is tired and beat up. Fast defenses work in the regular season, but once the playoffs begin, it is about stopping the run, which Dallas can NOT do.
What absolutely kills us is that we can’t run the ball and we can’t stop the run. I could maybe understand having a problem with one or the other but having both problems at the same time is absolutely killing us. To rely on passing the ball only while also allowing teams to run down our throat means if we dont get established passing early in the game we are likely screwed because time of possession matters a lot in this league.
It was 27-0 at one point in time after Dak handed them 14 points. He had 1 yard after the 1st quarter. This was all on him. His shitty play demoralized the team.
