Can't wait to see the movie. Been a fan of your work and Danny's work for a long time now. You two have been such an inspiration to me. Thanks for this video!
"There's no huge lighting setups" aka it doesn't look like a hollywood set with huge lights on cranes and never ending arri skypanels, but it's still not low budget or affordable js
Great breakdown Carlo! it's great to hear you worked within your constrains of time and crew. So often I work on set as a spark and they'll ask for a ridiculously big lighting set up with not a lot of time
amazing - so proud of you guys ! what a wealth of information and motivation. The movie looks beautiful... The image looks incredible. I will be supporting your film 200% when it comes out to the public..... love the content
Thanks for sharing man! Loved the movie, I forgot about the cinematography while watching in the private screening, meaning you nailed the cinematography!
I hope I get to watch this movie one day but I loved seeing it from the video Danny did saying "I am going to create a movie" till its premiers and trailer you guys are a great inspiration to many f us. Hope I make a movie one day from being a youtuber.
Cool breakdown. How did you approach lighting continuity? Did you tell your gaffer what contrast ratios you wanted? Like for instance, in the close-ups you mentioned lowering the overhead light - assuming the f-stop on your lens stays the same was the Aputure brought lower and then you lowered the intensity too? Looks wonderful
