The skinwalkers didn't even do ONE THING wrong the whole time besides being weird. And only became "aggressive" when the nosy asshole landlord escalated the situation as hard as possible and basically became a threat to their kinds survival. And they didn't even kill him or threaten to do so over it!
There are some gaps in the story, it's funny you should say that cuz I was thinking the story was going to do something different and show them in a positive light. Nope just went down the standard evil shapeshifter route.
Lighthouse Horror is the only YT channel where I've seen every video. Have watched all 962 of them, eventhe ones that were not great (looking at you, Smile Dog). It always lifts my day when you drop a new one. Thank you for all the stories! Now on to this one!

I watched that one a little while ago and it was a great story. I loved the new twist of showing himself a few months ago, I remember older videos having it and I feel like part of the lighthouse fam now that he’s doing it again haha

Protaganist was dumb. Imagine some kind of immortal monster who knows you know and you know they know and they pay you rent for eternity? Pshhh. I'd've been all about that "Yeah yeah, horrible things. You're gonna keep renting though, right?"
The thing is they aren’t human. So that means he was completely still. People usually shift and move while in their car. He didn’t he was completely still.
LMAO he thought the father was "strange" because he sat in his car for 15 whole minutes! That's not strange in any way, not even the tiniest bit! Sit in my car all the time, doing absolutely nothing whatsoever, just thinking. Who just goes into their tenants apartment to snoop? So bizarre.
Yeah, agree, but also this is the thing about humans. We don't sit perfectly still ever really. When someone sits in the car for a long time, they don't just sit. They shift, they fiddle. Maybe the narrator shoulda minded his business instead of staring at someone for 15 minutes! But it is possible for there to be "normal' car sitting versus "not normal", quite apart from someone not getting out their vehicle right away. Trust an unemployed narrator with no children not to see the value in chiling in your vehicle for one daggum minute, tho. :D
The thing is that the story is actually realistic: humans don't tolerate different. We fear and hate whatever seems out of the ordinary for us. So, if the skinwalkers were behaving even in the slightest way that's not human, the landlord's reactions are completely normal and even predictable. They didn't need to threaten him directly to seem scary, they just needed to act in a way that didn't seem normal to him. That's also how many forms of mental illnesses were treated as demonic possession in the past (we hope "in the past")
My previous landlord did. He tried to snoop while I was home one day. I had the key in the lock so it couldn't be opened. Another time I heard my neighbor yell at him he had been in his apartment. It made living their so stressful.
I weirdly feel sympathetic for them. I seems as if they're trying their absolute best, being odd sludge monsters like that but having to live with humans
Lighthouse, Dark Somnium, and Mr. Creeps are my go tos for my night shift job every night. Love being able to just throw my AirPods in and listen to creepy pastas. My nights fly by, and I put it on to go to sleep and I sleep like a baby. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not, but who knows 😂

My only criticism is that they aren’t neighbors, they’re tenants. But that’s more of a nitpick. I love this story. Very creepy and I couldn’t predict what would happen. I live in a basement apartment with a bathroom near the staircase… No, really.
Broke into his tenants' living space. Found nothing amiss except a pet, which they were permitted to have per the lease, and which had been so well behaved he hadn't known it was there. Threw a tantrum and drove off to a motel without confirming with them that the plumbing was fixed. What a terrible landlord. And for what? For all we know, all their outfits were as consensual and harmless as the one we saw them buy. We have no reason to believe they committed any offence other than be weird, and hell, _I'm_ autistic and could easily forget to adjust my outfit, or zone out in my parked car or in front of a pleasantly cool fridge. The silly edgarsuits narrating these stories never consider the many benefits of having Creatures as housemates and I think that's a waste of an opportunity on their part. Nicely read as ever, LH! I still think the puppy was cute.
....me too...he is an excellent raconteur...I'm quite an old lady...but I do have a bit of a crush on lighthouse 🤭....he has a real feeling for the stories he tells...not an easy thing...I admire him greatly 🤩
I wait for the next story to drop because he is my favorate narrator. Nobody does the other characters like he does. But I am a little disappointed as I had heard this one before. Not on this channel. I can't remember which channel. Mr Creeps is my second choice, but i dont know if it was him. There are others I've listened too. I also remember recently I started listening to another story on some channel, and it turned out I had heard it before too. I've been listening to stories for several years now and only recently have I stumbled across repeats. Oh well, I'll happily wait for the next one!

Sorry I "abandoned" the channel, after being a Hardcore member since the early days aka 20 k or so. It was not on purpose, my health declined and I couldn't focus . Now it's so poor I can't even look at these 5 second Videos. I might as well throw a random epileptic fit right now. HARD withdrawal from meds you had for decades is a real bit***. I had no idea you could sweat this bad, like you were poisened...it's so disgusting. Ok my nervous system is so weak atm I am about to puke ..... I should have not been on here until I was done. I always tend to put myself in the shoes of the protagonists in these kind of stores, and it makes me wonder when sharing a space with supernaturals how they would react if you started putting up occult symbols around the house. Like a Kabbalahist tree of life diagram on a door or you inscribed an alchemical transmutation circle on the floor ... maybe put up a framed picture of the seal of a major demon. Would they grow uneasy, would they ignore it, would they become more friendly?
I like to think that they'll just look at you...weirdly, and then say. "I wonder why people think we like those kind of things" " Who likes random mess on their house? Look, we don't want to clean bloody symbols everyday and worse it stains the carpet! We can't just buy new carpets everyday, can we?"
Since when have the demonic ever been friendly? Hollywood has indeed done the work of the devil, deceiving some ignorant humans into thinking these entities have the capacity to love or like you. These things hate you to the point were they actually plan for your destruction and you think they intend to let you live peacefully? Like they have your best intention at heart? They are here to destroy you, they are ancient, they know the truth (God is real, Jesus is real and they know their end is the lake of fire and they intend to drag you with them). They know things you don't, they have no mercy or an ounce of compassion. Try getting friendly by opening doors and inviting them in and watch how they destroy you and your family and even worse since you have no idea what you are messing around with, it will go down your family generation and ruin their lives too and you will have been responsible for whatever demonic spirit attaches itself to them and begins to breakdown their lives. These entities all hail from the same place, demonic. They appear in different cultures as different supernatural entities (gods, cryptids, ghosts, poltergeists, fairies, etc) to continue to confuse humanity, but they are all different ranking entities.
it would probably depend. You'd probably learn a lot about what is and isn't real. Who knows, maybe they'd laugh at the pentagram and be offended by a summoning circle.

It's really nice to read a comment from a high school kid that sounds like they have a brain in their head but that could be bc you've been lucky enough to have been homeschooled. My favorite story is Half-Priced Voodoo Shop also, I just wish he would finish the story. I've heard that other narrators have done the entire story but no matter how much I want to hear the rest of it I can bring myself to listen to it done by anyone else. Stephen is Travis and more importantly nobody else could pull off King Creole the way he has. I guess I just have to keep my fingers crossed that he will do it someday. 🤞🏻
