@@h5y878he’s supported some crazy ass ppl over the years, blame it on being a tv personality/talk show host if u want but he does so much to seem like he’s in touch but he’s rlly not
@@StephanieLorenG The "favorite artist's favorite artist" line is not true tho, she just decided to say it about herself, honestly idk it feels like she's just playing the "crazy looks" and "I'm so gayy hehe" card but her music has nothing crazy
@@cait6461 I’ve been blasting her music for years and one of my friends had the AUDACITY to say “hey have you heard this new artist” like BITCH IVE BEEN HEARING.
@@christianurena510Because right where the clip ends, she said “I was paying homage to Sasha Colby saying ‘your favorite drag queen’s favorite drag queen’ during her entrance” or something along those lines.
I love her! I hope the fans don't push her too far. She already opened up about how they like to dump their trauma onto her at meet and greets. They are taking it too far already and that scares me.
@thesoul2sqeeze I love that she's just suddenly so famous and herself that we get to see her take advantage of that. Like he had no idea what to expect at all, and it was great 😂 Usually, they have previous shows to go off for a script, but with Chappel, they can't do that
This is very natural iconic superstar behavior that she’s displaying here!!! She ate him up and then spat him out all within the first minute of this interview!
@@ollieno971 that's good you never heard it used that way. I hope you haven't heard a lot of other nasty things said to degrade ppl. But I certainly have. A lot of ppl in that audience who weren't familiar with her, didn't know if it was okay to laugh or if she was being derogatory.
I just fell in love with one of her songs. I haven't really watched any interviews yet but I adore her. I'm an 80s baby and she's giving me Bowie vibes.
I feel you so hard on that need to get your focus back-after the school year my ability to read is always a mess 😅 but would love to see a Michael McDowell vid!! I read Cold Moon Over Babylon not too long ago and definitely want to read more by him
You should’ve added in the part where she’s laughing and kicking her legs when she asks Jimmy if he didn’t know who she was. Why make her so serious when she’s not? She was just hanging a good time and it seemed like they actually got along. Don’t believe everything you see online, kids!
She has that charisma, marketability and uniqueness, those are the factors that the young top pop stars nowadays possessed. (E.G. Olivia and Billie). She will be a superstar soon. Rooting for her.
Replacement Id say, like I love gaga but her old progressive image is losing hold. Obviously aging changes peoples priority, and maybe with all the Taylor debatesz, people are ready for female queer icon who is... well queer.
The pop girlies are all so fun and unhinged this year and it is so entertaining and electric that I feel like I am on drugs every time I get to laugh along.
ahhh ive only seen a couple of ur videos so far but i just love ur vibe n the way u see the world n express urself so, so much!! im a bit tired so normally i wouldnt write a comment like this but i just really felt the need to get my thoughts out b4 they leave me. i came here from ur normal n psychic type girliepop tierlists, which completely sold me on ur content bc the way u interact w the community & alter the context in which u viewed the pokemon was v refreshing n v relatable to how i view the world, even if i dont have the context of the pokemon girliepop community or of playing thru the pokemon games. the way u explained ur thoughts n described ur personal experiences rlly showed how much thought and care and experience w these pokemon n the community u have, which makes watching ur videos so so compelling. the effort n thought u pour into every second rlly, rlly shows and i love it sm!! ive been playing genshin v on & off since version 1.12 i think(? my memory is too bad for that srry 😭😭 i cant tell if thats way lowballing it or way highballing so im just sticking w it… it was def b4 1.16 tho) w/ multiple accounts, w the furthest ive made it being abt halfway thru inazuma, so ive learned the story mostly from ashikai lore/theory videos n watching fandom content, but the story is so,so compelling to me!! hearing u say mondstadt was like a bad first impression lowkey broke my 2021-2022 era’s heart bc i *loveddd* mondstadt n the cozy vibe it had sm for so long, but i rlly cant argue that it doesnt rlly hold up to the rest of the game in terms of gameplay n story, esp w the arrival of sumeru & fontaine. i honestly hope at some point the developers find time to go back n revamp the older nations to give them a bit more regional character in terms of puzzles, gameplay mechanics, regional food specialties (mondstadt especially), etc, tho i understand thats a lot for ppl that are just starting out in the game n that the team behind genshin already dedicates sm to all the upcoming content that its not rlly feasible. hopefully one day tho!! sumeru and fontaine rlly got me reinvested in genshin, bc its just so hard to know their stories and not develop deep emotional connections w the characters. idk maybe thats just the queercoding lol but genshin rlly just gives sm amazing story to chew on that even with all the times ive gotten too busy or exhausted w it or wtvr, i just keep coming back for more! i have sm to say abt it but i dont rlly have the energy to organize my thoughts rn so maybe later who knows! anyway the final thing i rlly wanted to talk abt was a game who’s story scratches a similar itch for me n that id highly recommend! im not expecting u to rlly go thru n play it but i figured that i still might as well talk abt it n throw it out there!! it’s a rhythm game called project sekai (official english name is hatsune miku: colorful stage but no one calls it that lol) + its v diff from genshin in how the gameplay n story are essentially completely disconnected n u can entirely interact w one w/o ever interacting w the other, but for me personally that doesnt make the story any less compelling. the way the story is very similar to genshin is that it’s centered around five diff musical groups, all of which r v diff musical genres and vibes, n cover a wide range of stories. it’s a modern-day setting, so it doesnt have the medieval high fantasy world or deep spirituality going for it, but the characters all feel so real and relatable that it rlly serves the story that theyre telling. the only fantasy element to it is how it implements the vocaloids, who all interact w the original characters thru these worlds called ‘SEKAIs’ as diff versions of themselves based around the feelings of each band in order to help them find themselves & grow as musicians and as people (basically miku n friend get part time jobs as unlicensed therapists lol). it covers v deep n complex topics v v well, like growing w a narcissistic parent, gender non-conformity, chronic illness, depression-induced alexithymia, trying to make as an artist, etc etc i could go on for hours! it also has such amazing found family n even outside of the bands, all of the characters are around the same age n have complex interpersonal relationships w each other that also get explored, which is rlly nice to see. as a basic introduction to the five groups, there are leo/need, which are ur stereotypical band w a lead singer, a bass guitar, a keyboard, n the drums! their main story is abt 4 v close childhood friends that drifted apart in middle school for various reasons reconnecting w each other n struggling to figure out how to balance pursuing music professionally while staying authentic n having fun w it. the second group is MORE MORE JUMP!!, which has three ex-idols that at some point have all lost their passion bc of the industry, + one aspiring idol thats able to remind them why they wanted to b an idol in the first place. their story is a lot more abt maintaining hope even in the face of a toxic industry, as well as trying to maintain a healthy work-life balance. the next group is Vivid BAD SQUAD, which is a street music group and has a lot more to do w passion & community. the fourth group is Wonderlands x Showtime, which is a theater troupe (theater kids!!!) which preform at a local amusement park! theyre a lot like fontaine in how theyre both very dramatic & v comedic, n their emotions are a lot more extreme than the rest of the groups. theyre *very* heavily neurodivergent coded and are simultaneously v eclectic and fit together perfectly. we have our ginger (technically his hair is a blonde-red ombre but he has v ginger vibes yk) protagonist v extreme self esteem issues covered up w extreme confidence and a large stage presence, the pink-haired hyper-energetic daughter of the amusement park owners that hides her negative emotions by always acting extremely happy to try to make other ppl smile and is trying to save the park from becoming hyperfocused on profit instead of their original goal of genuinely making people happy, the green-haired shy-at-first straight man to the rest of the gang’s antics thats extremely talented but suffers from severe social anxiety and stage fright, and the purple-haired full-time stage director, part-time mad scientist that purposely avoids interacting and collaborating w others through playing up his personality bc he knows most ppl r unwilling to work w his extreme ideas n he thinks hes better off just doing things by himself (spoiler alert: hes not). finally theres Nightcord at 25:00 (their edgy code way of saying 1 am lol), who are even more mentally ill w a bit less of the camp, but are still my favorites bc i find them the most interesting psychologically n the most personally relatable. theyre an online group who’s songs focus more on mental health. theres kanade, who overworks herself and attaches all of her self worth to composing and helping others, mafuyu, whos spent so long building her entire identity around what other ppl wanted her to be that she no longer has any idea what she herself wants, ena, whos an artist struggling w feeling untalented & feeling satisfied w any of her art, & n mizuki, my personal favorite, that avoids opening up to anyone abt their inner feelings n going to school out of fear for being ridiculed for their (v v heavily implied) queer identity , n puts on an energetic happy front to keep the peace. mizu is undeniably girliepop n im not accepting any debate on that lol ahah id love to talk more abt them but ill leave it at that. theyre all v queer n neurodivergent n i love all of them!! tysm to anyone that actually read thru all of this ilysm )
