Since Genesis wasn’t written to us, but rather to an ancient audience, the question is how would they understand it? By trying to apply modern science/understanding to the ancient writing, we are over-engineering things, detracting our focus from the essence of the story.

Yes. It was Yahshua the Son of Yahweh the Father that delivered Israel from Egypt, that divided the waters of the Red Sea, that led Israel by night as pillar of fire to give them heat in the desert cold and as a cloud by day to protect them from the heat of the sun, that gave them the 10 commandments, etc. He was also the angel of the Lord that appeared in the burning bush. What made the ground holy??? Only a Divine member of the Godhead could! Not an angel or other human being could do that. It was not Yahweh the Father for no human can see HIM and live. See 1 Timothy 6:13-16. It was Yahshua the Son in the Old Testament that was referred to as the angel of the Lord. Refer to Acts 7:30-38. Key verse 35. It was Yahweh the Father that sent Yahshua HIS SON, as the angel (messenger) of the Lord (Yah ) to guide and direct Moses to liberate Israel!!! Wow!!! Later in verse 55, Stephen sees Yahweh the Father and Yahshua HIS SON standing at HIS Father's right side in heaven as the members of the Divine Godhead. Acts 7 proves Yahshua is the angel of the Lord of the Old Testament. In verses 59-60, Stephen prays to Yahshua to receive his spirit and called him Lord in verse 60. The italicized words are added words by the translaters of the Bible and not part of the actual manuscripts.

@@breweryministries Glory be to Yah. The holy ground issue is the same issue as when the priests went into the sanctuary on a daily basis, especially on the yearly Day of Atonement. The priests were entering into the holy presence of Yah, the shekinah glory, where only the consecrated priests could go into the holy and most holy of the sanctuary and if they weren't sanctified to go in, they would die and be dragged out by the string or rope tied to one of their legs.

My guess is Exodus 20:4-6 where it says not to make an image of anything in heaven. To me, the context there seems to be about idols, which were a little different than pictures because they were hollow, and the people invited a spirit to come live in it like a house. In my opinion, those verses don't really refer to a picture, but an "image" or idol is more like a temple for a spirit to dwell in. Interesting topic!

You're way off. God told you who Jesus was in the Old Testament. ( In the beginning). < Those words said ( I am ). The lord God tells you throughout the Bible. ( I am - the beginning and the end ). ( I am - the alfa and omega ), (No other Gods shall come before me ). Before Abraham ( I am ). God is the beginning which is ( I am ). Jesus return in the end ,).

Words words words. WE MUST discern. Keeping things in the realm of our current reality. Walk on water? Walk, steady pace. Water, encourage growth. Healed the blind man? Blind, lacking perception and awareness. He humbled him! Turned water into wine? At a wedding. Tears, into celebration! Calmed the storm? Storm, uproar! Feeding 5000? Fish? TRY! Bread? Means or money! He was a man, a great man. BUT A MAN! The bible is parable life lessons, stories and songs. Psalm? Sacred song! Proverb? Positive action. Names and numbers have meanings too! Mary and David both mean, 'beloved'. 5? Senses. 6? Union. Songs and stories. That's how they communicated! CONTEXT, must be considered. Script, ture. Tests meant. Go spel.

Two thousand years ago Jesus warned his followers that the end of the world was upon them. His father in heaven was a mass murderer of innocent unborn babies. His followers claimed he was god so he couldn't die. He could only have a bad weekend.
