Today I am heading out to a local lake to do some spring bass fishing. The bass were hitting pretty good but then my lure got slammed by a monster! I could not believe what I had hooked up! Awww Cy’s eye looks terrible! I hope it doesn’t hurt! I want to cry for him! And Sommy is walking! Bless it! I can’t believe it! They have grown so much! I love bass fishing too, Cole along with crappy and blue hill! I like catfish fishing too but I don’t like to eat catfish, they are too fishy to me. My favorite fish to eat is bass or blue gill. I am glad to see Cypress eating fish. Fell down huh. He didn't want to say that Summer got tired of him messing with her and POW! I may of had a sister do that to me once. Big ol kitty fish on a bass lure. Never had that happen to me ,in the years I was bass fishing. Oh and I neglected to say how good Jay looks. Great video, all around.

Thanks again for sharing these priceless memories. It's great to see Summer Daisy walking and smiling so much and Cypress is talking so well now. Your house makes me laugh a little and takes me back to when my kids were one and five. You can clean it up and five minutes later it looks like a tornado went through the living room. LOL. Reminds me of bass fishing on the river around rock structures with my Grandpa and he caught several flatheads on a crawfish lure and we had to net them into the boat. We ate good that night for supper too! #biggun #cole&jay

Cole, the kind of fishing you did in this video is just what love to do. I only have a depth finder for water temp and depth but I hardly use it I kind of do it by smell it smells bassy, you know I bet.

I've caught 3 channel catfish on crank bates and 2 on jigs..never caught a flathead or blue cat..

Flatheads actually eat more live bait than other catfish species. They say that the meat is much better tasting because of this, it is delicious.
