One thing I think is important about Blitz's interaction with the lady in the waiting room is it shows how open and blatant the racism and classism is in Hell. Blitz literally got called by a derogatory term by a child just for making small talk in a doctors office. Just something to think about when analyzing Slotas and Blitz's relationship and maybe why Blitz might not see how much Stolas is trying
This! The whole side plot, as silly as it was, really showcased the differences between the worlds the I.M.P crew and Stolas inhabit. Stolas gets whisked in instantly for the best of care, while Blitz struggles for five years to get Loona an essential vaccine. And the staff don't seem to recognize her as a person at all. They talk to Blitz only, as though he's her owner and she's a dog who can't understand. And even vets are usually kinder to scared animals than that!
@@marithflugelhorn7352 yeah! Omg I never noticed that. The appointment was even under Blitz’s name! When I take my daughter to the doctor it’s under her name even as a toddler but my pets? performatively at best is my animals name ever called
I have seen some stuff in the fandom about the reason Loona is so afraid of the Hellbees Shot is because she had almost aged out of the pound. In a lot of real pounds, when dogs "age out" they are euthanized. Loona probably saw many of her friends go to get "just a shot" and never come back.
9:16 Exactly - takes five years to get an appointment for something that needs to be done every year. Welcome to the Sloth Ring. Everything takes forever to get done and it's hell's only hospital.
Striker really doesn't like it when his targets act horny while he's hurting them, it throws him off his game every time. Blitzo (and Stolas himself at first) doesn't take Stolas' kidnapping seriously since as a demon royal he's immortal and can't actually be harmed by most things. Only blessed weapons and demons of even higher rank (such as the Sins or the royal family) are actually a threat to him. So Blitzo didn't realize Stolas was in actual mortal peril until right at the end there.
Bro just wanted a chill episode, and instead he got this.. also I love how he progressively went “Michell…? Yea.. Michell.” ……. 5 minutes later “Carmine. Carmilla Carmine
Just a lil thing you didn't pick up on. You asked why Striker didn't just go ahead and kill Stolas right away. He mentions to Stolas that he was paid to give him "the royal treatment". In other words, Stella didn't just want Stolas to die. She wanted it to HURT. Striker was under orders to torture him first. Luckily Stolas is a masochist, lol.
Stolas could get shot, stabbed, whatever, and be fine. Its the blessed weapons Striker/Carmilla uses that have the power to actually hurt him. Like the blessed rope disabling his powers.
All imps make some kind of animal/feral noise. Blitz purrs, Moxxie has his puppy whine, Millie almost sounds like a jaguar when she's angry, Striker makes a rattle and growls etc.
18:09 the reason stolas brought up blitzo is him trying to cope with what is happening and stay strong and the only way he can is by thinking of blitzo and make some for of joke or mockery of the situation. I don't think his intention was to be flirty or horny 😅❤
Hellborn demons have black blood, angels gold blood and sinners red blood, as for what Stolas was saying to Striker I always thought that he was putting on a front as to not show weakness and show of Blitzø haha
Yeah, Blitz always thought that Stolas was all-powerful. He didn't think that Stolas could get seriously hurt because he was a Prince. And the RED text is Blitz, the purple is Stolas.
It's kind of terrifying that not only can Striker take on Milly and Moxxie at once, but he's actually more dangerous with a lasso than two blessed revolvers. Edit: Pretty sure Stolas was just trolling Striker by talking about how Blitzo harms him in bed. Stolas has a sassy streak, and it really comes out in his interaction with a kidnapper.
Just cuz I happen to know, at 28:54 when they do the transition where Blitz is on the ground, and it changes to Moxxie on the ground, and you couldn't remember the name of the cut, that's called a match cut. Also, the thing about Stolas being able to get hurt, no he can't. He's immortal to normal stuff like demon or human made weapons. he can only be hurt by Angelic weapons, which is what Striker's knife was made from.
I love watching him as a reactor because he pauses to look at all the details. I live reading the comments here because people like you fill in the blanks. Thank you. 😊 I was intrigued by his comment about transitions.
I just had to say this about blitzs and stolas' text because I feel like it's important but basically when stolas is texting blitz he never tells him EXACTLY what he wants to tell blitz straight forward & never fully commit to it, even tho he THINKS he's being nice and giving blitz an out, to blitz it just seems like stolas was just suggesting all of these things without wanting it to actually happen or that it wasn't a big deal since he kept backing out of what he was saying/suggesting (plus he doesn't believe stolas could actually love him or want to be near him without the arrangement anyway since stolas is way higher in hells hierarchy then him so that just makes everything worse, its basically just a lot of miscommunication with these two and them not communicating with each other properly😭)
I am 90% Stolas' team but I am also re-watching to view things in Blitzø perspective and now I understand SO MUCH and is really so refreshing seeing someone see BOTH sides equally! thank you for that! hope your channel keeps growing!
yeah, it's definitely one of those things that the viewer isn't intended to take one side over the other. they're both hurt traumatized people that have fucked up tremendously and each hurt the other through miscommunication/incompatible "communication styles" and harmful coping mechanisms/trauma responses. a big reason why I love this show so much is just how nuanced/complicated the relationships and major conflicts are
Look, not to undermine what Stolas went through, but imagine getting deadnamed, being called slurs, needing to hold your child down for a shot, and finding out your not-boyfriend is able to be hurt by learning that he is *seriously* hurt in a few hours time. And regarding location: Wrath is Texas, Pride is LA, Lust is Vegas, Greed is Chicago, Sloth is Florida and Gluttony is San Francisco. We haven't seen Envy yet, but I'm betting New Jersey will be the inspiration there.
I'm expecting Envy to be some kind of east coast waterside vacation spot for rich people who are always jealous of each other and always trying to outdo each other and be the most pretentious rich bitches. Who envies others more than rich people envying each other? "Johnson next door got a new car and it's better than ours, that bastard. Now we have to get an even better one."
@@RisaPlays Ah, by New Jersey, I mean the Jersey Shore in Atlantic City specifically. Though I wouldn't be surprised if we got some Atlantis vibes with it, given the underwater theme!
Stolas was saying all these sexual things to Striker, because he aswell as Moxie found Strikers weakness. He is HYPER uncomftable with ANYTHING sexual, to the point where he loses concentration and makes more mistakes.
"How does he not recopicate this?" Did you forget about the part where Blitz hates himself? He won't be able to accept that someone likes a prince loves him
“Can he hire the IMP crew to take her out” is so funny considering what Stella does in this episode. Also Carmilla is the main supplier of angelic weapons because she and her staff go and harvest them after the exterminations since the angels pretty much just leave em all over. Most of the hellborn like imps and stuff go to the other rings during exterminations to avoid getting killed so only the sinners are in pride during that time. That’s why carmilla and her daughters were out on the day of the extermination when she killed the angel. Otherwise she probably would have been in hiding like the other overlords who have more resources to avoid getting taken out than other sinners.
Hellborn don't have to go to other rings to avoid the extermination, Lucifer has made a deal so they're exempt - though I suspect that the majority of the hellborn population stay away anyway just to be on the safe side.
Fun thing I found out a while back: The small imp that went on a full riff in the song for Striker is actually also the voice of Valentino for Hazbin Hotel!
Not-so fun fact, the flower petals you can see slowly falling through the last scene, is reference to the “does __ love me? Or love me not?” And in the last shot it lands on love me not. 👍
17:38 You will notice in the scene before where the guy gets beheaded, his blood was also black. All hellborn (imp, succubus, ect) have black blood, they also blush black as well.
23:38 Striker is actually a hybrid, he is half imp (hence his striped horns) and half rattlesnake demon (you will notice he has eyes like some of the greed residents).
The snooty mother and kid. She is a fish woman and the kid is an axolotl which is an amphibian that can turn into a salamander. So the joke about convincing the dad that the kid is his is actually based.
42:08 he didn't immediately kill stolas because stolas wife specifically payed striker to make it painful and not kill him immediately. If you go back and watch it again striker makes a joke about how stolas wife must really hate him 😅❤
The "bird race" are called ars goetia and they're demon royalty like it's already been explained in the series, that's why Stolas is called "prince stolas". In order of "position" they're above sinners, overlords and hellborn but below deadly sins (like Asmodeus) and the Morningstar Family (charlie, lilith and Lucifer)
For more context in demonology the ars goetia are the angels that got kicked out of heaven along with Lucifer for supporting him and his rebellion, we don't know if that's the case in helluva boss but it's an interesting fact that could help you comprehend why are they more important than other demons in hell
Jotting down my thoughts as we go: - Brace yourself for more drama, dude. And yes, 'Look My Way' _after_ Episode 7 -- with the first _Helluva Short,_ 'Hell's Belles', as a palate-cleanser if you need it. (Spoilers: _you'll probably need it.)_ - Andrealphus, Stella's and Stolas's half-brother (Paimon was _his_ father, but not _Stella's),_ is going to be a recurring figure in Stolas's drama. Keep him in mind, he'll be important later on. - Hell has lawyers. You'll meet one in a couple episodes, and understand why they _didn't_ have one involved in the divorce proceedings. - Regarding the animation techniques used by the Spindlehorse team: as a trained animator, I can vouch that they still use the same traditional techniques that you'd know from classic Disney -- it's just done on a computer using a tablet these days, using technology to _augment_ what traditional animation can do without _replacing_ it; you can follow the keyframes in the movements of the characters and focal elements, though I think most of the backgrounds are digital assets overlaid with hand-painted textures, which makes it easier to do those awesome zooms and pans with the camera. (I actually applied to work for them a bit under a year ago, though it didn't pan out. Given what they've done since, I can't fault them for only wanting the best.) - It's a little bit funny hearing you talk about how getting regular blood draws got you over your trypanophobia, because I had basically the same experience: when I was hospitalized as a kid and the doctors were trying me on a wide range of antidepressants and antipsychotics and needed to check the levels in my system each week, sitting in a chair with a needle in my left elbow watching the blood flow across the glass became so routine that, when I started donating blood years later, I found myself so completely relaxed that the nurse taking my blood got a bit freaked out by it. You're the first other person I've heard who _gets it._ - This episode was the first we got to see of the Sloth Ring, the pink-skied home of the goat-like Catoblepas race and the domain of Belphegor, AKA Belle, Queen of Sloth. All of Hell's medical and pharmaceutical services are either located in or based out of Sloth, such as Stolas's bottles of 'Happy Pills' from S2E1. - The guys singing Striker's theme song? Blake Roman and Joel Perez -- the voices of Angel Dust and Valentino, just havin' a _grand_ ol' time. (If memory serves, Perez also voiced the doctor.) - The Rings of Hell are conveniently arranged in a rainbow order by their dominant color: Pride (home of Pentagram City and the IMP office) is red, Wrath (Millie's hometown) is orange, Gluttony (Bee's pad) is yellow, Greed (Moxxie's home) is green, Lust (the location of Ozzie's) is blue, Envy (as-yet unseen) is purple, and Sloth (seen in this episode and the next) is pink. Makes it easy to remember once you notice it! (We haven't met all the Sins yet, but their designs share the colors of their Rings -- Lucifer's red apple motif, Bee's yellow fur, Ozzie's blue plumage, etc.) - Spindlehorse has a knack for creating characters you _love_ to _hate._ I'm _fully_ on board with that, if only for the catharsis of seeing these royal brats *_lose._* - Edward Bosco has been doing a _fantastic_ job capturing the little flashes of glee and rage within Striker's gravelly drawl. He's better than Norman Reedus at the nuances of voice work. - The way that the traded blows in the fight scene's opening phase are in time with the music never fails to impress me. You can tell they choreographed it frame-by-frame. (The role you were trying to name is 'fight choreographer', by the way.) - I fully expect we'll eventually learn what tragedy in Striker's past turned him into a monster. The techniques he derived from ranching skills, like his mastery with ropes and lassoes, feel more foundational than his gunplay -- and his outburst at Stolas about how _"some_ of us had _everything we care about _*_taken away_*_ by _*_FUCKERS like YOU."_* felt like his most honest disclosure. - The difference between Stolas's verbose texts and Blitzø's monosyllabic responses illustrates just how disconnected their communication is. It's entirely possible that Blitzø is illiterate or self-taught, given his upbringing and his home life -- the only things he seems to write extensively about are his horse OCs; we know Blitzø has read and responded to every text Stolas sent, but I'd be surprised if he retained even _half_ of it.
Man, do I LOVE when other share their knowledge on the lore in this shows. I love learning. Thank you so much for taking your time explaining and sharing what you know!! I'm taking notes!! thank you for your help!
@SS-ui7by I did my best to avoid making references to anything from episodes after this one, apart from minor context-free notes like 'remember this guy, he'll show up again' or 'we'll be seeing a little more of this location soon'. I don't want to ruin the experience for Matt or anyone else, so I only talk about the lore and character details and current theories as they become relevant.
two things! 1. Film student here! and yes, at 29:17 that's called a match cut :D 2. don't know if anyone mentioned but the reason the appointment took so long is because most if not hospitals are located in the sloth ring - aka the lazy ring!
From what we've seen, it's also probably true. Not sure if it's a in-universe thing or something that's made to be read by us, the audience; kinda like the floating flowers and bubbles in shojo anime :')
So about Moxie and Millie's parents, yes, Millie's are from Wrath, as well as Moxie's, as Blitzø says both his employees are from Wrath. Although as Crimson's a mafioso, he and his family moved to Greed. 1 other thing, Andrealphus is Stella's brother
Btw, Striker didn't just kill Stolas right away because Stella was supposed to be paying extra for him to be tortured first Also, Rescuers mention slapped me in the face with nostalgia! I watched that movie so many times with my family when I was little!!
So, for a clarification in this universe there are seven rings in hell and they are: Pride ring: Pentagram city where all sinners and Lucifer live. Also the I.M.P's office is there. Wrath ring: Hot waste land where most of the imps are born. Satan lead's this ring. Gluttony ring: Yellow themed city full of furries which is ruled by Beelzebub (That weird bee fox thing that is somehow Vortex's girl friend) who is really a giant monster that uses positive energy of her people to keep her in her little peacefull form. Greed ring: Moxie's old home that is driven by mafia and Mammon. Looloo land is also there. Sloth ring: a sexy place where is always raining and where all of hell's sex toys are made and sold. Asmodeus rule's this ring. Envy ring: We haven't seen this ring yet, but fish people come from there and it's ruled by Leviathan. Sloth ring: All of hell's hospitals are in there (Including the one from this episode) and it's also known that most of the hell's drugs are made in there. Sloth is ruled by Belphegor. This is mostly proofen by Vivziepop. Have a nice day👍
Omgggg the accutane storytime same!!! I got over my fear of needles exactly the same way lol still can’t look at the needle going in but looking at the blod come out is fascinating for some reason xD
The water types, like the loan sharks and the folks in the vet office, are Leviathan's people. Envy ring I think. Stryker is only half imp, and his other half is likely from the envy ring - shark/croc/water snake similarities.
I GOT THIS EPISODE AND THE NEXT ONE MIXED UP I wasn't prepared 8""") Stolas has strong regeneration powers and he's... Resilient to put it lightly. Plus we gather from previous episodes how Blitzø sees him as so much higher above, kinda untouchable. He genuinely believed Stolas could not be harmed. ....maybe Stolas believed that too. Thank you again for another episode ❤❤❤
Sad but fun fact: at the end when Stolas is in the hospital with all the flowers around him, the falling of the petals represents the They Love me, They Love me Not thing you do with flowers. So when Stolas phone buzzed and the flower petal fell it was He Loves Me, because he texted him because he was worried, but then when the flower fell again when he didn’t respond it ment, He Loves Me Not, then when Stolas set his phone down the flower fell again, He Loves Me, because Stolas hopes he responds but when he doesn’t the final flower falls at the end, He Loves Me Not 😭😭😭
Something really important to keep in mind is getting hurt doesn't normally actually hurt stolas. Blitz can use bear traps in the bedroom because it's not actually going to hurt him. The only reason he got actually hurt is because they were using angelic weapons
Stolas being hurt by regular weapons in the bedroom is part of the BDSM Dom/sub scene play the two can get into. Stolas can even have his bones broken and they will heal almost immediately. This means Blitzø can cause Stolas serious pain/pleasure without damaging Stolas permanently. The Valentino and Angel Dust VOs were part of the tiny imp quartet, which is very amusing. FYI on Shots: I had to give myself a daily B12 shot for over a month, and once a week for a year after when I almost died from being deficient in the vitamin. I also have been injecting myself with Embrel once a week for almost two decades. You do get used to shots and having blood drawn weekly when you are chronically very sick. Now blood is drawn every three months to ensure my meds are doing what they are supposed to be doing and not causing things like hepititus.
To let you know, the program Poser can work in 3D space and then be flattened into 2D when you have it worked out. The program costs a little under $200 so it is totally affordable to everyone who wants to animate.
It's true that poor Stolas is trying his best to reach out to Blitz and be emotionally open with him, but Blitz is so guarded and closed off he deffo isn't emotionally capable of receiving it. On top of that, I'm sure you could tell by the texts but Blitz is illiterate, he can barely spell and I wonder how well he can read. It's very possible that the long texts from Stolas make him feel stupid and insecure and I'm sure he likely struggles to get the full context of what Stolas is trying to tell him. These poor lads. :c
Moxxie was born and raised in the Greed ring while Millie was born and raised in the Wrath ring. There's two cities that we know of that are in Pride which is pentagram city (where most of the sinners are) and Imp city where I.M.P is located! The Hospital was in the Sloth ring. I hope this helps!! Edit: Also Blitz was most likely raised around greed don't know where he was officially born though!
One interesting thing from the clinic exchange- apparently the bad word for imps is “fire toads.” Blitzo, who cusses regularly, won’t even repeat it. It is not, as some have speculated, “little ones” or “itty bitty imps.” Shopkeepers will courteously welcome imps as “little ones,” so I didn’t think so. Blitzo theorizes that one reason for the poor way imps get treated is because they are smaller than those in power, but it does not appear that just mentioning an imp’s height is considered offensive. For example, Stolas calling the Wrath imps “tiny.” That didn’t seem to cause a reaction. What did cause some narrowed eyes was his wording reminding the imps that they are exploited (spoils of labor). ut just nuanced enough to give us the impression that the imps are exploited, the narrowed eyes show that they are aware of that, but Stolas still sounds politely clueless.
Yeah, like he is praising them and making it sound like he's celebrating their hardwork and he is. Thinking it's all a nice job and shit. But obviously, to the imps it sounds condescending as hell because their labour and their produce is probably exploited.
Oh, I think the Wrath imps did not appreciate being called "tiny" either. Stolas has referred to imps as small and unimportant so many times in the show so far that I'm sure someone has put them together into a clip. (That said, we don't want to reference episodes that Matt hasn't seen yet.)
Hey Mattables, just some stuff I want to share: 1) I have a theory that Tilla, Blitz's mother, was a succubus or part succubus. Her horns, for example, are more like the horns seen on succubi/incubi, and she's taller than imps, and her face shape is not like the imps' either, which would explain why Blitz is taller and bigger than most other imps and would explain how he seduced Stolas. This would also explain why Barbie Wire was able to get an Asmodean Crystal. 2) As for Striker, the current working theory is that he's an imp-rattlesnake demon hybrid, hence why he's taller and stronger than full-blooded imps. 3) Blitz and Loona are in the Sloth ring 4) Andrealphus is canonically gay, so his 'flirting' with Stella is just a way to manipulate her because she's a conceited entitled spoiled brat 5) Between season 2 ep seven and season two ep 8 there's a song that isn't in any of the episodes, Just Look My Way. After that, there's a short called Hell's Belles 6) Loona doesn't speak when she's seen in episodes three, four, and five of season two because Erica, who does Loona's voice, took a break due to her fiancé passing.
@@marithflugelhorn7352 Did you even read my comment? Nothing I said relates in any way to episode plots or storylines. They're just pieces of information and two theories regarding Blitz and Striker. *Not* spoilers.
@@harleyhart1497 Obviously it's up to each reactor to decide what they consider spoilers. But characters we haven't met yet and events from future episodes usually qualify.
11:55 A lot of people don’t know that the solo singer singing this line here is also the voice actor for Angel Dust and he also voices the Egg Boiz in Hazbin Hotel. And likewise, the older looking imp with the handlebar moustache in this mariachi quartet is also the voice actor of the Dr. in this episode and he’s also the voice actor of Valentino in Hazbin Hotel. ❤
You mixed it up a little bit. The solo singer is Joel Perez (Valentino). According to him, he improvised that one and it went even longer because no one was really stopping him😆 Blake Roman (Angel Dust) is also in the mariachi band but I don't know which one
A Ring which was presented in this episode - Sloth Ring, Belphegor's Kingdom. Belphegor from the series on the canons of theology and Demonology Demoness is an inventor who is responsible for all the inventions and achievements of mankind, which has provided them for thousands of years of existence and continues to inspire scientists and other figures. She is like a local Athena(goddes of wisdom) and Asclepius(god of medicine) from Greek mythology, or Imhotep(The famous architect of Pharaoh Djoser and god of medicine) from Egyptian mythology. The expression Laziness - Engine of Progress was invented by her and was her motto. She also discovered all the known diseases, both on Earth and in places where it would seem impossible to be in Hell, and became the one who invented medicine and many medicines, in particular those based on narcotic substances. But since she's still the Embodiment of Laziness, it's up to her to do everything alone, and she's created assistants for herself. Baphomets - Sheep-like and goat-like demons who have learned a lot quickly, but like their creator, they are very absent-minded and passive. But it is precisely thanks to them and Belphegor, Hell subsequently evolved (she could possibly even teach Asmodeus to use technology and ingenuity, so he founded his own toy factory and everything necessary for his Sin), as well as the Earth, so that both these worlds just consider it almost indistinguishable, and everything that was invented in Hell subsequently came to Earth, starting from Such mythical creatures as Satyrs, Sirens, Furies, Sea Monsters, Bunyip, Mothman, Chupacabra, Dinosaurs, Cyclops, Titans, Giants, Shapeshifters, Unicorns, Centaurs, Alicorns, Werewolves, Harpies, Sphynxes, Ghouls, Ghosts, Poltergeists, Witches, Mara, Hags, Black Stickmen, Shadow-people, Owl-man, Jersey Devil, Loch-ness monster, Morag, Fear Liath, Enfield's creature, Hopkinsville Goblins, Flatwoods monster, Yeti, Fouke Monster, Skunk Ape, Sasquatch, Minotaurs, Faeries, Gremlins, Trolls, Ogres, Goblins, Leprechauns, Kobolds, Chimera, Manticore, Rakshasas, Basilisk, Dwarfs, Youkais, Oni, Lizard-People, Aliens, Dragons, Pagan Gods and others, as well as clowns, jesters, zani and the Circus in general were founded and invented by our ancestors based on the images of the inhabitants of Hell, who in the old days got out to Earth much more often. Returning to Belphegor, she is the weakest from Sins, because she relies not on her own strength and abilities, which are almost non-existent, but on her own intelligence and knowledge.
Are you referring to the ring where Blitzø and Loona are? Cuz if you're referring to where Stolas and striker are, that's the wrath ring, which is Satan's ring. Also, why the fuck did you write so much!?!
I don't know who you are. I don't know if all you said is canon. If you are looking for trigger my interest in the occultsims , I can tell you I AM INTRIGUED. I DON'T have skills, skills I have never acquired over a very short time life, but THAT just make me a nightmare for people like you. If you give me more knowledge now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kiss you (JK) but srsly...MATE, THAT was awesome I dont care if this is not canon in the show this comment in canon in my HEART. Thank you, fellow sinner!!
@@bethanyboarder7751 I know that. But it is also canon that Belphegor can take the form of a beautiful girl, and apart from his title as the embodiment of laziness, inspires inventors and scientists to technological breakthroughs.
Stolas' blood being black is normal yeah, it's not poison or anything. You can actually tell what anyone in Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel is by the color of their blood: Angel's have golden blood, Sinners have red blood (like humans, which is what they are) and Hellborn Demons have black blood The only exception to this rule seems to be Charlie, since it looked like she bleeds red in episode 8 of Hazbin despite being Hellborn (though to be fair she might not even count as a Demon, I suppose? Technically she should count as a type of Angel known as Nephilim, which is the offspring of an Angel (Lucifer) and a Human (Lilith), though I don't know if Vivzie or anyone ever addressed anything about that, so yeah.. she's a special case anyway and seemingly the only exception to the blood color rule)
The animation of the fight scenes in this show just keep getting better and better. I love how Moxie just wrecks those guys at the gas station. Then, they hit the striker fight and take it to a whole new level.
The "he can get hurt?" Hurt me so much. Broke my heart.... Blitz has a different mindset kinda I guess you could see. You saw some of his background and all... Blitz doesn't think he deserves love. (No less from a very high up person like Stolas). With Blitz he thinks he doesn't deserve the love. I can't say a lot more without spoiling the later episodes... but I'll be back when your caught up!
Helluva Boss is a frame by frame hand drawn animation, animated on twos: meaning that every second frame updates the movement :) The path of the bulled was pretty straight forward, so I assume they just zoomed in the sketch of the room, which makes everything move toward the camera and then drew the actual scene over the zoomed in sketches every second frame to make everything smooth and crisp.
Pretty sure they either experimented or are into knife play. Also since Stolas can't get hurt normally, I don't think normal knives actually do damage to him. Will he feel pain, maybe, but it won't harm him.
34:51 well yes the purple is Stolas hahaha it's like on our phones... If your reading your texts on your mobile they're going to be on the right (in most occidental countries) 40:41 Moxxie is from Greed (the main color is green), imps are technically from wrath but I guess with movement and things a lot of imps are born in other rings of hell
Omg I was literally waiting for your reaction on THIS ep. ESPECIALLY the texts conversation at the end!! I gonna go and watch this video and I'll back in 1 hour!! omg I LOVE long reactions!!! thank you so much for taking your time and give it your attention to all the details☆
Like you said-! The quirks that some people find annoying; others find cute & endearing! Only change yourself if you feel like it will improve you TO you!💪🌟I've learned that's the best way to be happy!
Absolutely! I also found my best match by being direct with my communication and expectations. Two kids later, 11 years together, and I still get excited to see him and kiss him.
I love your outro, it's so catchy. I also used to hate how you talked about yourself but I've actually grown to love it because I used to only come for the reactions but now I also come for the stories
Carmine-Crafted Blessing-Tipped Rifle Helluva boss season 1 episode 5 Harvest Moon ________ "Oh, my crumbles! A genuine Carmine-Crafted Blessing-Tipped Rifle! How... How in the fuck did he get one of these?!" ―Moxxie, upon seeing the rifle Carmine-Crafted Blessing-Tipped Rifles are notoriously powerful angelic weapons used to kill demons of a high status in Hell. ------ While they have not been seen to strike a living target, however both Moxxie and Striker have confirmed that the rifle is powerful enough to kill high ranking demons, including the Ars Goetia and other demons of royal status. Because of this deadly nature, and the surprise exhibited by Moxxie at the weapon's discovery, it is presumed that not many are in circulation or are available. One was seen in the possession of Striker when he attempted to kill Stolas during the Harvest Moon Festival; due to him fleeing after the failed assassination without trying to retrieve the weapon, it is unknown whether the rifle is now in possession of I.M.P or not. ------ The rifles appear to function similar to bolt action hunting rifles, such as the Anschütz .22 LR. This weapon may share similarities with heavenly made angelic weapons. While the angelic weapons are known to be able to kill sinners, it is unknown if it shares the demonic royalty killing capability of the carmine rifle. The weapon has the words "Carmine-Crafted" in its name, part of which is shared with the overlord Carmilla Carmine who is an arms dealer including those that are influenced/affiliated with the discarded angelic weapons. This heavily implies that the weapon was created by and named after her.
I think all BR understood what Stolas meant by "Blitzo's knife is bigger".... he was referring to a "knife"... cylindrical... big... thick... hot... . and pulsating from the blitzo... I don't know if I was specific enough
The next episode is the lowest rated one in the series, so hope you're ready! 40:45 While I don't think it's fully explained in the show, Moxie's dad was from Greed and his mom was from Wrath. Despite spending more of his childhood in Greed, he puts more stake in his Wrath heritage.
You taking Blitz’s side on the text chain is the hottest take I’ve seen on this episode. And I have to agree! For Blitz it was a big deal!! But will it be enough for Stolas? 😅
If you look at the mountains and architecture in Sloth, it's mostly ice cream and cake themed but there hasn't been any long lasting storylines around that ring which I am anxiously waiting for because the less shown rings seem DOPE. Headcannon theorizes that Belphegor, king of Sloth, looks like a taller more powerful version of Loona's vet, a goatman with a lit candle on his head. Cannon has already shown you his name on Stolas' "Happy Pills". Moxie was born in Wrath but raised in Greed, and Striker says that Stella paid extra for Stolas to be tortured for a while instead of just trying to kill him like last time.
React to Look My Way BETWEEN s2e7 and s2e8 :) And to keep the length of the vid up, you could also watch the Helluva short in the same reaction video :) Also, in regards to why Striker doesn't immediately kill Stolas; Stella specifically payed for him to "get the royal treatment", implying she not only wanted him dead, she WANTED him tortured first. Only furthering how awful this woman is! And don't apologize for how much you're talking! That's what we're all here for! :) Keep up the good job! ^^
One thing to remember is that Blitz *hates* when Stolis calls him "Blitzy". Blitz has asked Stolis to stop multiple times. But it's right there as a contact name. Perhaps Stolis isn't actually trying. He's saying lots of words but hasn't even changed something as simple as a contact name.
Girl a fucking contact name is not a priority for any person generally smh. My parent used to live in a different state for while and i named it with the name of that place. Its been years since that but i still havent gotten around to changing their contact name back cuz its not important. That doesn't mean stolas isn't trying. He generally never calls him 'blitzy' again and hasnt even called him with those terrifying horny phone calls since Ozzies. Whenever he learns about a mistake, he corrects it.
@@SS-ui7byThis! He makes a lot of mistakes for sure, but as you said he generally tries to correct them when he's made aware. To say he isn't even _trying_ is just plain false.
Oh boi this is just the beginning of the heart wrenching Stolas and Blitzø moments…I hope ur heart can take future episodes cuz some wrecks me so bad 😂.
29:10 i think the term you're refering to here is called a 'match cut', in which a shot cuts to another shot that matches the action or subject of the previous shot
Yay I got caught up with your reactions! … also boo I got caught up with your reactions! ❤the content, you are one of my favs to watch I love when you stop for the details. Excited for you to react to the rest.
