When you wanna downshift, pull that clutch in...downshift, then SLLLLOOOOWWWWWLLLLLLY ease the clutch out. Wanna down shift again ? Do the same exact thing. Gear by gear. Or you can be in gear, coming up to the light, pull the clutch in, brake, keep holding the clutch, then kick down each gear while ur at the light, until youre back in first gear.
@@TopshelfJunior I would get in the habit of downshifting as his speed decreases!! Because practicing bad habits will get u in some trouble...He may pull up to the light and forget to downshift all the way back down to first or neutral and then the light changes and he tried to take off in 5th or 6th gear and stalls his bike!!! Then a asshole behind him be done hit him from behind thinking he’s pulling off!! Good Advice thO
@@allgasnobrakes919 True. You can do it that way too.. I usually cruise around the city in 3rd or 4th gear, and as I'm approaching a light.. I gradually downshift into 3rd, continue to brake, then into 2nd, continue to brake, then just before I get to the light, I kick down into first. So I know once I'm at the light, I'm always ready to go. Different ways to do it. I think my first initial note to him was just on regular downshifts, no matter the situation. Clutch in, downshift, sssssllloowwwly let that clutch out.

ive got the same K1. Has a power commander and Ive messed with the sprockets, i dont need to go 175 but i like the quicker response, probably would of beat the Honda...
Yo Dev! Don’t go out like that bruh! You gotta represent for the #Zooknation that’s what I was saying in one of your vlogs about having your ECU flashed. That power commander is not letting you run full throttle. You’re only running about 82% full throttle with that commander but when you get your Ecu flashed you’ll be running 100% full throttle . And get some world wide wheel bearings……. They will help you roll a lil better! Getting the Ecu flashed and the wheel bearings maybe a little pricey but you big money gripp! Mr Real Estate! You can handle it! I got tricks for dat azz! Like I said before 750 #teamwhoopdatazz! Please redeem us!
@@allgasnobrakes919 that part I’ll have to disagree with you on. Suzuki bikes are quality bikes. Their technology is behind the other 3 no question but my old 05 750 was an amazing bike. My 2011 Gsxr 1000 was an absolute beast with the blue frame 😍. Now I have an 2018 Gsxr1000r in black and she’s a real looker with an led headlight . I’m rambling now but after owning a few I’d have to say there top quality bikes and beautiful too 👌🏾

A cpl mods and he back in the game..pc5. Sprocket. Velocity stacks. Minor upgrades Lighter radiator, new year wheels for less weight.. and superman returns .. at the end of the day is all on the rider.. 1 more sec on the throttle in every gear would have made a difference grudge bikes deliver in the power band
The 01 is still fast as hell no reason to feel bad at all. I’ve hit 184 on mine. They’re damn good bikes and look better than the new stuff. Lots of Chinese parts on new bikes. The 01 is all Japan
A lot of misconceptions between older bikes and newer it’s nothing to do with technology it’s engineering they’ve gotten better with the design of the engine to produce more power newer bikes are more powerful than the older counterparts

Dev, Are you sure that he hasn’t made any aftermarket upgrades to his 2017 honda CBR 1000 RR? I’m trying to figure out how and why his bike was so much further ahead? Maybe his is tuned different to have more torque in lower gears? My bike the 2006 Yamaha FZ1 is a 998 cc bike , in lower gears it’s sluggish but past 4th gear it takes off . My bike has more torque on the higher gear end. 😂😂😂😂😂 I wrote this comment before watching the tid bit at the end🤣🤣🤣🤣 he did make upgrades aftermarket 😂😂😂😂😂

the 01 GSXR 1000 is about equal to a newer GSXR750. as time goes by these bikes are getting lighter and more powerfull. I have an 08 CBR1000RR and stock they make as much horsepower as a first gen Busa and weighs atleast 100 lbs less so its a beast. to my surprise my bike has 8 injectors.. get a better cam, full aftermarket exhaust and a tune and she will be a whole different animal!
It wouldnt embarrass a 750 but it will win...i had a 2015 cbr 1000...i thought it was so fast until my new 19zx10.....now i see why ppl say hondas are slow. Even the new 17+ cbr1000rr isnt even a fair race.
@@2wheelsonly614 A K1 and K2 embarrasses a 750 in my opinion, it's another torque is another engine despite the minimum difference of just over 10hp the architecture of a 1000 is different. I've ridden a CBR 1000rr 04, 08 and 19 as well as the zx-10 04, 06 and 16 and the difference between them all is not very noticeable, just putting them side by side to see. people say Honda is slow because they only pay attention to HP and the performance of a motorcycle is much more than that.

I’ll race that CBR on mY 07 zx10r I have a full Brocks PentaCarbon, sprint air filter , 16/41 gearing , full Race ECU flash & annitori quick shifter . I was neck and neck with a 13 cbr1000rr before when I just had a slip on . Now I beat him by 3 bikes and he’s only 10lbs heavier then I am . I’m 150 with jacket and boots
I have a 19 zx10 and u know what them gen 5s do lol...honda doesnt make top speed bike but they are quick and good street bikes..zx10s have weaker low end but MONSTER top end.
The K1 and K2 are up against many more recent 1000ccs, the bike delivers torque and power very early and all at once, 600/750 is up against a K1 and K2 is a joke, HP is not everything

@@ericleeSupSayK Of course not, but the first generation gixxer 1000 is very underrated, the bike has 160hp but it doesn't have any kind of electronics it's all or nothing, and it has the same torque as the new liter bikes.
