Hello and welcome to the first video in my Nomad Zero to Hero Permadeath series :). This is going to be a weekly series in Star Citizen. Watch as I take on the verse head on starting with nothing but my Drake Cutter. I will only live off what I loot and I can only log out by bed logging. And if I die....... I start all over again. I hope you all enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it :). All gameplay was recorded in Star Citizen 3.23.1.

We use a lot of "airlocks" down here on earth as well, we just don't label it as such. How many entrances to larger buildings have two set of doors? To stop wind, heat or cold?

It is more living the nomad lifestyle. Living off only things I loot etc. It just happens to be described in a way that shares a name with a ship in game.

@@TrueNorthRecon I have a second account that only has one starter ship. The Aurora is now an Ursa Rover so I have 0 ships technically on the account.

So, how are you going to get a ship? Two missions wont buy a cutter. Also decoupled Vector lock landings are your best friend for not crashing.

I upgraded the aurora to a cutter because I wanted to do bed logging and that ended up being a mistake because I was told bed logging was still working in the cutter and I found out last night the bed logging is in fact not working in the cutter. Not a big deal the person who told me this thought it was working but it isn't. For now I'm just going to stick with the cutter though because I don't want to keep flip flopping ships.

Yes I get the mechanics behind getting the cutter, but your citizen is broke, they have 20k to their name. Your Aurora was destroyed and 20k won’t buy a cutter. And free replacement insurance isn’t real.

In the current build of the game free replacement insurance is real haha. Maybe a happy middle ground would be I can only claim the ship if I can afford the expedite fee? The series will probably evolve as it goes. So I do not mind suggestions on how to make it more interesting. With insurance not being in the game who is to know how much that claim would be? It probably wouldn't be the full cost of the ship. So how would I calculate how much that should be in the current build of the game?
