@_PJW_ I have had both, electric is unreliable and never heavy duty. Gas powered has far far more options. Definitely more powerful and more reliable the electric especially rechargeable types. I spent the whole summer cutting my neighborhoods yard while she waited for parts and repaired her rechargeable mower twice.
