They're expensive, I know. But there really is $1000 worth of engineering in these robots. EASILY!. I put my money where my mouth is and ordered Megatron a month ago. I'm expecting it by the end of Q3
Soundwave would be a cool one. They could make him actually play music! Probably off an SSD, flashdrive, and/or Bluetooth instead of a cassette though. And, yes. I know Soundwave is a tape recorder, not a cassette player. But he does both, so... I guess they can have the microphone for the voice commands also just work as a mic? Definitely not the kind you'd use on Discord or whatever, but recording and playing audio would still be a cool gimmick for a stationary alt mode. The cassettes would be much harder to turn into a robot, though
I think the a smart move, for the next character would be to make *SOUNDWAVE.* Due to his shape he'll be easy to make and (if they are really smart) they can make the toy an actual music player, so you can use it even when he's not transformed. Not sure how they could manage the cassette minions, though. That part doesn't look as easy to make. Maybe just something "spring activated", Bakugan alike, that will just pop out as cassettes and transform when they hit the ground (and do nothing else).
@@Diaszurana I know. And if I had any idea about how to put one or more working motorized devices in something so small I would have suggested it, but since I'm not that smart, I suggested the easiest, more possible action I can think about.
Only $700 for Optimus? Might as well only get 5 - so my kids don’t have to share. Oh, better make it 6 because i’m not sharing with my kids! Megatron’s only $1200 - Christmas is right around the corner! foh
If they make that it would have to be OG G1 toy accurate to be able to transform, i wouldn't have any problem with that but i think those who are obsessed with the cartoon aesthetics will spew foam from their mouths
@@nucleonegro9762 They went with the Combiner Wars tank alt mode for their "G1" Megatron instead of Walther P38 pistol alt mode, so these G1 loyalist snobs should've been mad for that than for Bumblebee to have a "G1 toy accurate" robot mode 🗿 I mean what's the biggest difference? Having all the wheels on Bumblebee's arms? 🤷♂️
Hey Jett, thanks for making more videos on Transformers. I mentioned this on one of your other videos but my 6 yr. Old son is a G1 fanatic and we spend hours playing with Transformers. Your videos help me understand why he finds this so appealing. That insight really helps me not get weary of playing with him and keeps me from trying to persuade him to play something else. You have an analytical approach to toys that is really useful. I hope more parents check out your channel, it gives me hope my kid will turn out all right. ((But also, help a mom out, why is it fun when the good guys die?? One of my son's favorite Transformers toys is the set of Prowl and Ironhide dying with circuits falling out and purple laser spikes you attach to their wounds. He loves Prowl and Optimus but we always seem to play a story where one or both of them dies. Any insight would be appreciated.))
Hey Jett this video was fun and it was awesome to see more transformers content. I adore transformers, but I have a question about bionicle which I also love when can we expect the next video to be out?
8:34 who wouldn't? I mean, if you got a robot Prime and a robot Megatron and they both have fight programs, you're gonna wanna watch them fight. I know they're not toys but my inner kid is going to wind up playing with them as if they are and wind up breaking them at some point 😂
This was just beautiful. Watching them fight and fall on top of each other is just so fun to watch. They should add more decepticons though like ma man Soundwave with ravage lazerbeak buzzsaw rumble or frenzy. or the annoying wannabe leader Starscream. Or maybe one of the female Autobots like Elita 1. Heck it. Even just a thundercracker or skywarp would be fun! Or imagine a robot jazz! Playing some cool tunes! But I think I’m commenting to much. Have a good day 👍
I love the Megatron transformation, there's so little that's unused, unlike Grimlock who has a whole head just chilling. And for anyone that wishes it was a gun mode, wy? It's so goofy to have this lineup of cool vehicles and animals, and then "Oh yeah and this guy, he's just a gun" 'So that means there's a bigger guy that shoots him when he's transformed, right?' "No, he just floats around"
They should make "city speaker" (i can't remember her name "wingblade" I think), the first flying transformer, she can use the drone tech into her wings since she flies with propeller in her wings, they can do a design with two blades, I have a drone with 2 blades instead of 4. with these great feats, I know they can do it. imagine a robot hovering in mid air and transforming daaammmmnnnnn!!!! head blown!
>he was instructed to have the Transformers away from each other at a minimum length >he wonders why their interaction won't load even as he outright ignored the minimum length Well gee, I wonder why it won't work. Was it a wrong Optimus, was it a glitch, WAS IT YOU NOT FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS? Such a mystery. The mystery of Convoy. 😂
what i love about this is that even if in the future Robosen releases a more expensive more advanced toy these won't go out of style, these are still some very well made Transformers
Hi JettKuso! Did you know that Spin Master and Hasbro are collaborating for Baku Formers? They are little vehicles and animals that transform by rolling them onto a Gate Card. The first wave consists of: Pyrus Optimus Prime vs. Aquos Hydorous Haos Bumblebee vs. Darkus Nillious Aurelus Grimlock vs. Ventus Trox Darkus Megatron vs. Haos Pegatrix Ventus Starscream vs. Aurelus Pharol Aquos Soundwave vs. Pyrus Dragonoid They will retail for $15 and come in Vs packs, just like Baku Marvel.
Robosen Megatron shows that the toymaker regrets having a handheld device as the alt-mode of the leader of one of the armies. It shows that if they had it to do over again, they would have made the Decepticon Leader a vehicle instead of a handheld device.
they need to unify this all within one app, but there would need to be some sort of bluetooth hub most likely that receives data from the app and sends the commands to the toys because of how many bluetooth connections you'd need
As someone who grew up watching Transformers Gen 1, I am actually surprised Megatron didn't start out as a tank, it makes more sense actually... most of the Transformers were vehicles of some type. Then they kind of fixed it with Galvatron who turned into a tank... so it would have made more sense linearly.
Okay now that I actually watched the vid - an idea would be to allow users to "mod" the animation sequences and upload it to a server so that could be shared but you do make a good point, I wouldnt want to bash these up too much but there absolutely needs to be some more interactive options between the different models. I'm going to guess Bumblebee and Starscream are the next two and if Bumblebee is indeed next, I wonder if theyll scale it accordingly.
They could be improved, here's how: first by giving them moving prehensile hands, and second by putting a camera in the head and giving them a first person shooter control scheme. When using guns the robot simply pulls the trigger, and when it uses a melee weapon it performes a preset movement pattern. The funny thing is that the melee paterns can be edited with an app by the user by connecting the robot to a pc. And when transforming the robot simply drops the weapons it is currently holding. It could even be come a competitive sport.
Why do I see this turning into a real life 1998 film of “Small Soilders.. I’m a 80’s baby an a product of an love transformers, the real OG ninja turtles ( the suit’s vanilla ice owns including basically everything else from the vintage franchise) But I’m definitely getting Major Chip Hazard and Gorgenite vibes as well as chuckie and puppet master vibes too ,from these toys frfr 😳😂
