I took a digital pregnancy test… | 12dpo Live Pregnancy Test 

I’ve been debating going to the midwives because they just really don’t test for anything here, they won’t even do betas. It’s a major downside to socialised healthcare - if you aren’t dying, you’re not likely to get any meaningful testing 🫤 They have the rule here that you have to have 3 losses in a row before they’ll do any testing, so if I manage to get some actual visible lines and miss my period this time around to “prove” my situation, I may give them a call. But I’m really not sure what they’d be willing to check for. Especially since I’m older and already have kids, I’m fairly certain they’re just gonna say it’s due to age and to just keep trying and take vitamins / eat healthy. One of the perks of living in the US that I miss so much is being able to have in-depth healthcare analytics :/

Andrea I had a question - if my BBT temps are “normal” for the luteal phase and my LP is the standard 14 days long in a non-pregnant cycle, and AF doesn’t ever come unless my pregnancy tests already were already fading into nothingness, could there still be something wrong with progesterone? I guess what I’m asking is, could I have a progesterone problem even if everything looks normal and to be expected in my biofeedback?

@@Expat_FitLife Hey! I just saw the update and the line is definitely getting darker. It’s so hard to know about progesterone because I have asked different providers a couple of times on what is a good progesterone and how to know if it’s OK or not. I have not really gotten any good answers from anyone but I will definitely ask my fertility specialist next time I see him. When I did my own search, even just a quick Google search to see what the common answer was, most articles that I read, one from the prove test people, was that it should be above a 10 ng/ml. So then my question is if I’m at a 10 or close to it and I start a period while seeing pink lines at 14 DPO, was it enough progesterone to have a normal length luteal phase but not enough to keep the pregnancy? In most of my chemical pregnancies, I had increasing pink lines and then my period would start right on time. In fact my best lines were on the day I started my period. I don’t know what my progesterone was the year I had all of my chemicals which was 2020, but in 2021 I had my 21 day progesterone taken (which should be at 7 dpo) and it was at 12.58 but I don’t remember if that was a cycle that I got pregnant. I definitely know my progesterone is struggling now because when I’m tested around 7 days past ovulation, I’ve had a low number of around seven. When I asked the nurse practitioner about it she made it sound like progesterone level was relevant to the quality of ovulation. So then you have to find out what is quality ovulation? Is it a bigger follicle versus a smaller follicle? So many questions! I think you’re doing the right thing by eating right exercising and the supplements you’re taking and it’s good that you get pregnant easily because eventually there has to be a good quality egg that comes through, I just think for peace of mind it would be nice to know what the progesterone level is at this time of your cycle when your period would otherwise show up. It really stinks that they don’t do the testing there that they do here to rule out these possibilities.

Awww you’re so sweet Ioana! And I agree, I love the charting groups - I feel like they have such a great technical understanding about a lot of fertility concepts. The BBT groups are so much smaller than the general TTC groups but the quality of answer you can get in the BBT groups is generally a lot higher. Those are def slightly darker this time to the last ones but I saw those too, the clearblues are sensitive and you have to bare in mind that hcg takes 48-72 hours to “double” they def look darker though so you are pregnant! Hoping for a sticky bean!! ❤ x

I find it shocking that the digital picked up before the strips, that’s always been opposite for me. I knew it said positive tho from your other video it had way more words hehe . I’m from the states (Pennsylvania PA USA)

I’m afraid that perhaps the quality of Easy@Home has turned to 💩 because the more I ask around, the more I’m seeing some people say there experiencing similar things with it. Kind of like the indent issues people have started to have with FRER. I really need to just stop testing early, but the waiting drives me insane also, sooo… I’m trying to figure out which is the lesser of two evils 😅 I think that as these cycles continue to drag on, it will probably get a lot easier to wait on testing and ignore all the faint lines.

Well, a lot of women get an LH surge just before their period, so that’s a thing that can happen. But my digital pregnancy test came back positive, so that’s probably why my OPKs are a bit dark so soon before my period. “Gravid / Raskaana” means “pregnant” in Swedish / Finnish (I live in Sweden). I should have put text on the screen to clarify.

I very badly wish I could be that person who could wait patiently, but I just can’t. I tried it last cycle and it gave me overwhelming anxiety 😅 I’m the personality type that has zero chill and even less patience, so unfortunately, this is my lot in life 😂 I take full responsibility 🙋‍♀️😄

The cheap tests are such crap, aren’t they??? 😩 It’s my own damn fault; I have no chill, no patience, and have the need to pee on 17,000 tests every day when I’m TTC - it’s an expensive addiction! I hate being this way 😂😂

@@Expat_FitLife awww I totally understand the branded test are expensive ano love I’ve been there so many times I must have spent thousands and thousands on pregnancy test this is my number 9 pregnancy three was losses and when you’ve had losses love it’s hard to stay chill u have to know if things are ok

Yeah, I’ve read that when you go through perimenopause/menopause, non-pregnant HCG can be as high as 10miu/ml (if I’m recalling the numbers correctly). With that said, I turn 40 in October and don’t have any signs to indicate I’m in peri yet, so I don’t think that is an issue for me at the moment. But who knows! 🩷

​@ExpatFitLife I'm actually thinking you are actually catching very early pregnancy lines, but might have failed implantation. Do you take baby aspirin? We recommend it it Mom's without medical restrictions after age 35. It can help with receptivity. I deliver Mom's over 40 weekly, and my at 40 pregnancy was flawless, so I have high hopes for you. ❤ You're healthy, active, and "active" 😂 You'll catch that egg!

No, I’m not telling him about this one - I told him about the other ones, but now it just sort of feels like the right thing to not bother talking about it until things look hopeful. And that’s mostly for my own benefit; I’m at a point where I kind of just don’t want to think about it unless I think there’s hope. It’s taking up too much emotional space in my life, otherwise :/ But as to your egg quality question, I don’t think there’s really a direct way to test for egg quality, unfortunately. Unless of course you do IVF and they run genetics or do PGS testing or whatnot, but I’m not sure to what degree they can analyse fragmented DNA. The only maternal bloods I’m aware of are the genetic screenings they do to see if you’re a carrier of anything that might cause fetal issues. Or perhaps testing AMH which may indicate higher odds of lower egg quality. I’m just assuming that given my age, my fertility is just naturally on the decline. I’m shooting more blanks than bullets, so to speak 😅 But I’ve put up several videos both recently and over the past couple years talking about all the supplements I take and the foods I am eating to do my best to increase my egg quality. It takes 3-4 months of doing or taking something before it can fully impact the egg you’re ovulating in any given month, so I still need to be patient before all the adjustments I’ve made to supps & diet kick in.. but if you’re interested in the links, let me know and I’ll grab them for you 🤍

It’s hard doing all of this ttc with disappointment , glad you are in a better head space this cycle it’s soooooo frustrating for you !
