There's a product called "ink b gone" that takes sharpie off almost anything. You can use it on the boxes and cardstock and it won't damage the box or cover. My stores here use sharpie on everything, so I use ink b gone alot.
for the missing pieces, you can always find the same games at the thrift to complete a game. most people go to the bins and find parts for board games that way. at 2,and 1 dollar i dont think its a loss to buy board games just for the pieces. just my thoughts.
Hello, I was wondering how do you go out getting your stuff to Amazon for them to sell it for you? Is there a Amazon store you walk it into or do you have to ship it to them? Thanks for another great video! Happy Holidays
I will do the same with used games. My Goodwill is $1 on Saturdays for the color of the week and I will sometimes just pick up all the games if they look to be in good condition and check the to make sure everything is there later. I figure for $1 each I can take the gamble.
When you counted the pieces in the open board games was the ratio to games that were complete compared to games that with missing pieces relatively the same. If so, I am guessing that it takes at least one hour to count the pieces in board games. Your time is worth more than $10 an hour, so counting pieces significantly lowers your profit.
some board game manufacturers will send you free replacement parts. Big guys like Hasbro probably won't but a lot of the smaller companies making the newer hobby games will.
Hi, im a new subscriber, and a thrift reseller in Florida. I had a question on; how did you figure out your sell price for the agent armstrong big box rare item? I looked on Amazon and ebay for sold history, and found nothing. Should I be looking for different pricing guide websites, besides ebay/amazon?
You should make a video showing us how to package and ship packages to Amazon fba, would be awesome and entertaining to watch. Also great video as always!
I used to have a treadmill. Regretted buying it. All you have to do is go run outside and you get fresh air at the same time. Good luck when it's time to get rid of it. You can't even give them away.
I still use the treadmill luckily. But I did end up buying another one from Goodwill for $30 and flipped it locally for $100 in like 2 weeks which was nice.
You could always bundle them together and sell them as a bundle of incomplete games too on Ebay if it's not worth selling it for pieces. Sometimes people will buy them like that to complete their games because they need the box or the game board. You got a pretty good deal on them. many times I find they are $5 to $10 CND a game here and you're still taking a chance that they may be incomplete.
Magic Erasers work wonders on sharpie on anything that is smooth!! Same with all the sharpie on plastic. You need to get one for your cleaning Arsenal!!
That doll at 5:50 in the blue bin is a hasbro doll that eats, pees and poos, they are worth anywhere from 35-100 bucks, depending on how many functions she can do
how you feel about lonnie working with his wife? predictions? DUDE my house is getting overrun with inventory and i dont even buy as much as you and you are keeping games that are missing pieces. I need more room LOL. About to be sleeping in my stuff and im a decent lister
@@friedhockeyboogieman3215 yea i couldnt do it with mine. she fails to understand basic reselling rules and practices like NOT immediately blowing all the money you make....
Cool videos. Someone said somebody is doing RU-vid videos at my local thrift store and I was like what? Since when? Turns out I've run into you a ton of times. Now I know who to talk to about starting a channel since I've been reselling for years now...
@@onlyme7907 That's a valid concern, just not on the top of my mind. I was scammed in person with an IPhone X I purchased, so I am just iffy on the whole thing. I would need to have a receipt or copy of an invoice signed in order for me to feel comfortable taking that gamble.
Hello fellow CTer! Red, White, and Blue Thrift has some good deals, but the last few times I was there the place was super packed. Like 20 person line to pay and packed isles. I also would never get the electronics there because of AS-IS policy. Goodwill has been getting kinda crazy with the prices. Dont go to the one in Westport. Complete waste of time. They put retail prices on everything. Maybe I'll see you in the wild one day!
The missing pieces game purchases make no sense to me, mostly because the margin just isn't there. You're looking at mere dollars of profit... and is there net, after spending hours shopping, counting, listing, and if you sell, packing and shipping? You gotta be losing money at that point. The complete games had some impressive margins! I used to do this for a living with books and DVD/CDs. It's hard to have the discipline to say no to the lower margin treasures.
Goodwill is so overpriced on everything. Those $1 cat foods are actually $1 NEW at Walmart. The place is one giant rip-off scam, and I never even go to them any more. Don't understand why people go to Goodwill...
At 7:05 you missed a good find with the light keeper pro Christmas light tester. They sell for around $20. Just sold one in less than a hour after listing. I usually pick those up for a dollar or 2.
What's the cheapest way to ship a game through eBay? I have quite a few sitting here but some of the bigger/longer ones may require a large flat rate box which is $$$
it is so weird to see you at red white and blue i go there all the time and have found good stuff there, just so odd seeing you walk in there! lol! that place is always packed
Hey, you're from Connecticut right? I'm pretty sure I put that salvage sticker on the COD game, if it had T1528 on the bottom right thats our store I can't believe I saw it again
Those prices are insane!! Goodwill just burns me up. It's always depressing looking inside the stores. The employees are miserable and they just take advantage of people who genuinely can't afford retail I'm not buying cat food at Goodwill and I certainly wouldn't pay 36 cents more than WM charges for it. Geesh. Thanks for sharing the vid!
