Fisherman’s Wharf, on the northern waterfront, is one of the city's busiest tourist areas. Souvenir shops and stalls selling crab and clam chowder in sourdough bread bowls appear at every turn, as do postcard views of the bay, Golden Gate and Alcatraz. There’s also a colony of sea lions

I used to keep a boat on J dock at pier 39 in the late 90's. It was good to see shots of it now. It brings back so many memories.

Park anywhere there and get your car broken into. Not safe to Park anymore. Use to love the place. Not anymore. There was nothing in my car. They still broke the window. Also happened to my son and his friends and my neighbors. Cops don't do anything.

I go to SF on a nearly weekly basis. Never once have I had my car broken into there. When I lived in Miami my car was broken into three times. Perhaps while I lived in Miami I learned where and where not to park my car. Also in Miami, a close friend cut off someone on the Turnpike. Result? Three bullet holes in his car. Another friend's mom stopped her car for a moment on Brickell Avenue, left it running, got out and got a newspaper from one of those vending machines. In the time it took her to walk to the other side of the car someone was already driving off in it. Perspective.

@@jdgoodwin3136 wow, lots of issues in all big citys, lets all remember the location of san francisco is spectacular. The only thing we can do is remove all valuables and carry on and enjoy this beautiful city
