nooooo this infuriates me, if i have 6 apples in my special apple bowl and i legally own the apples, if i take away 2 apples with my hands and i'm holding them on my person... then i have 6 apples!!!
THAT'S what it was! I couldn't quite place it and thought it was from some wii game. I played that so often & found all the secret words to make the guy react, I remember giggling with my little sibling as we yelled cilantro at him 😅
@@gryffinbro7242 wait there were secret words??? I think I remember figuring out he reacted to the mic picking up sound and thought he randomly did face expressions. My sibling and I found our old save files in that one game were you could act out scenarios with either pictures, drawings, or audio clips, and we were laughing hysterically at the stuff little us were recording lol
@whyaretheykinda there were a few! I just checked the secrets part of the wiki and the list is shorter than I'd remembered, but if you say the Dr's full name he'll laugh, if you say "glasses glasses" he'll move his glasses onto his forehead, & if you say cilantro (or coriander, depending on region 😅) he makes a disgusted face! I remembered that one the most vividly because I'm a staunch cilantro supporter & feel very bad for anyone with the tastes-like-soap gene
@@gryffinbro7242 lmaoo thats great. I think I remember figuring out the glasses one actually! As a glasses wearer....I remember making him laugh and scowl with just random noise or brushing over the mic lol. I don't think I have the soap gene, but I don't enjoy cilantro myself
PJ I just want to say thank you. You always upload whenever I’m having a really bad day and your videos always make me feel better. You have such a lovely personality and it always lifts my spirits. Thanks for all that you do
Don’t worry bud, I also need to start the alphabet from the beginning to locate a letter, I also kinda have to do it in Norwegian because even though it’s the “same” it’s which one is the most stuck in my brain that matters
IQ is kept at an average of 100. So even if a population gets smarter over time, 100IQ will be average 50 year ago, now, and in 50 years (for example).
I wasn't necessarily under the impression that this was a well thought put test to begin with, but the answers for 6:38... "Neither is heavier" and "They are both the same weight" are functionally the exact same answer. But I'm willing to bet, one of those is considered wrong.
yeah... this is not very legit.. 😅 I've read a lot about IQ and intelligence testing since I studied teaching and it's basically impossible to make a test without cultural affect which means that those who grow up in the same kind of environment as the quiz-maker will seem naturally smarter. So this doesn't measure how "clever" someone is, whatever that means? Still funny video though! Don't get me wrong!! 🤣
Yeah...just took this same test. I was not able to answer any of the questions which relied on knowing the order of letters in the English alphabet. My mother's tongue also uses the latin alphabet but skips some letters english uses and introduces some that it doesn't use, so these questions were all broken for me.
*pushes glasses up* So you've got your two doors, and let's say, you point at the hellish door, the truth teller will tell you what the liar would say, therefore, that the door is the right one. HOWEVER, the liar would tell you it IS the correct one because they would always say the opposite of the truth teller who would actually tell you it's not the safe option. Therefore, if you get two yes', it's NOT the right answer. Now, if you happen to point at the freedom door while asking if the other person would tell you that it is the right door. The truth teller (as they are the spokesperson of the liar) would tell you that it's not the right door even though it really is. On the other hand, the liar would also tell you the door is not the freedom door because even if the truth teller would say "yes it is the correct door", they, as the liar, would manipulate the truth to make it a lie. Hencewhy, if you get two negative answers for one door, it is the correct door. Hope that helped? Edit: The TLDR is that the truth teller would adapt their answer to the liar's, therefore, they would "copy" what the liar would say. So all the answers you get from this method are lies, hencewhy two positives is the hell door and two negatives is the freedom door.
Would you ever do a video on what your current cameras and lenses are? I remember you mentioned a few in a video years ago but I’m curious what you use currently for all your work
I think this quiz took some heavy inspiration from the TedEd puzzle videos, cause i recognize several of the riddles from my binges of those vids (especially the pill/ball weighing ones, and the bridge crossing one)
I'm pretty sure out of 1000 people in a room, who've all taken this test, I'd be smarter than about 200 of them, because most of those I did not understand (the numbers mostly).
You'd have gotten all of them right with more time to think, imo. Time pressure tests are really bad for people with anxiety disorders because the anxiety the time limit produces uses up a lot of the brain power needed to solve the question. Also if you are sleep deprived or hungry how well you do goes down.
The trick is that the question asks which is heavier: a pound of steel or a pound of feathers. The individual object weights don't matter because the question states both items equal a pound.
I had too much fun figuring out the bridge one. 1+2 go across = 2 min, then 1 goes back over with the flashlight = 3 minutes, gives flashlight to 5+10 to cross = 13 minutes, 2 brings flashlight back to 1 = 15 min, then 1+2 go over again = 17 min
I dunno why I thought PJ would be the kinda guy who would be down with the Fibonacci sequence, but I guess I'm the only person that got weirdly obsessed at some point
This test is exactly like state mandated exams I had to take as kid which would determined which classes we took every year. I had no idea they were actually just IQ tests.
