We went for a nice day out at the glorious Telford International Centre to Ultimate Dubs. This show used to be a religion to me when I was younger, it was always the first show on the calendar and the one where you had to turn up with your car looking RIGHT. Coming back 8 years later, it definitely stirs up the nostalgia!

I am in complete agreeance with all of James's comments and opinions 😂I'll admit there is certain cars that look good stanced. However, it depends on the type of car. I completely disagree with dumping a car like that M2 to the ground because that's the complete opposite of what that car was intended for, may as well have done it with a normal 2 series and saved the money, because going fast clearly isn't their main priority. That car was meant to smash laps at the Nürburgring, not smash the tarmac of a carpark.

@@baggedr32mk5 Yes I'm well aware of how bagged cars work and why the reason for it, they have their advantages compared to static cars. Maybe I misinterpreted what I meant when I said about smashing it into tarmac. What I was getting at was I understand why people bag their cars, but I find it pointless personally to put a performance car like an M2 on bags. If you're going for a bagged look, you're main priority clearly is posing, not speed/handling, so why bother putting them on an M2. M2's ain't cheap, could've bought a normal 2 series and saved a huge amount of money which could've gone towards other mods. Everyone has their opinion so I know people probably will disagree with me, which is fine, I just prefer seeing an M2 with a decent coilover/race setup on a track as opposed to dumped to the floor in a car park.

@@gianlucavignali this! Couldn’t agree more. Cringes me seeing good m cars on stupid suspension set ups, just ruins everything they were intended for. Turns them into a spungey mess in the corners, just do that to a standard car that already has a boat like suspension set up.

Always been with him on this one am afraid! There seemed to be 2 schools back in the day, I wanted my car to go faster and handle better, my mate wanted his to look cool! You seem to have a bit of both! I do appreciate the work and money that goes into them though and each to their own and all that! Now am old(er) I wouldn’t mind going to something like this just for something different!

I couldn't agree more with James. This is the reason I don't go to car shows because its all full of these "stanced" cars on air which look ridiculous. Yea it's more frustrating then cool 😂 that supra at the start of the video was ridiculous, they have ruined such an iconic car... Kids these days have no concept of cool, that's how you know your getting old 🤣
