I Took My Friend's Kid To A Korean Kids Cafe

I don't know if these are worldwide but here in South Korea kids cafes are a thing and I asked my wonderful friend Nichola (seriously check out her channel below) if we could take her son Yul to a kids cafe so I go play in the ball pit with him.

They may not know what age he is and there's some kids who speak pretty early., also since biracial kids tend to be bilingual, they may be curious which language he is speaking., it's okay to be curious. 🙄

My kid is like 2 months younger and... Nothing like yul. ;( My son is loud. Talks 24/7. Plays hardcore. Is a menaccceeee. I wouldnt trade him for anything but I'm praying my next kids are more like yul. Yuls vibe is like peaceful. My sons vibe is yolo.

I love the mother love and community over there i had the privilege of living there 25 years ago when my boys were under 2 i remember one bad bad day i lost the diaper bag was new in the area and my newborn had a extreme blowout a kind mama gave me a diaper and showed me a place to grab a new outfit it was such a breath of fresh air on a suffocating mom fail day

From an American's perspective who's grown up listening to Kpop, watching dramas and I've had a bunch of Korean friends in college I think your accent is fantastic! I don't know what regional accent you have from Korea but I can tell you've made a point to really try and sounds like a local. It's cool!

I like how you sort of leave him to his own devices from time to time to play and explore, without second-guessing everything he does. Every child should be able to entertain themselves, within reason, and not need constant external stimulus. Forming their own narratives, focussing/holding their attention on something, being curious, figuring things out through trial and error, and becoming their own person. ;)
