As someone who has lived in Oban their whole life, it's so refreshing to see an outsiders perspective. It' s such a pretty wee part of Scotland which we sometimes take for granted. I hope you return one day and visit the town centre and surrounding areas!

The way you express your excitement from nature is so simillar to mine and I don't get to see that in others, so it was really beautiful seeing you this way. How you bonded with your mum made want to have a kid right now, you two are sooo blessed with each other! And of course Scoltant and the nature is love. This was so lovely to watch! I just came back from Ireland and there are so many similarities to scotland: the nature is breathtakingly beautiful and the people are so so kind (often, there were strangers talking to me about my journey and telling me about the history of a place, so lovely!)💚 I went alone, but the connection I felt there is similar to what you describe when you're talking about synchronicity with your mum :) My parents met in Ireland when they did a Roadtrip with friends in the 90s. In that year my mum was 19 just as I am now and this feels so special to me🥺✨️ I would love to explore the country (with which I fell even more in love with!) a second time, but together with my mum ♡♡♡
No wayyy jade i'm currently in Scotland for vacations with family (i'm from france) !! We went sea kayaking in Oban yesterday and we're going to Glasgow tomorrow. We also spent a few days enjoying the Edinburgh festival (hope you had the opportunity to see some of it). I have to agree scotland is such a wonderful place ! Hope you enjoyed you're trip as much as i am enjoying mine :)

Coincidentally I also went to rural Scotland in August '22 haha. There really is nothing like rural Scotland and the highlands, it's such a magical place.

As someone who has grew up in Scotland their whole life I love seeing videos like this from another perspective. It makes me appreciate my home country more as it’s almost something I take for granted and forget about how beautiful it can be. Even seeing Glasgow from your perspective is crazy because to me it may be a dump but to you it was so new and exciting, you’ve even shown me places I had never heard of. I’m glad you and your mum had such a great time ☺️

I'm 16 and I'm moving abroad to Scotland for school. It's crazy to me that this video came out just a few hours before my flight. I always need to remind myself why I've made the decision that I have. Scotland is a safe and special place. Thanks for reminding me of that today before I leave ❤

I'm Scottish and being used to seeing you in various places around the world/in England it's disorientating but really cool to see you visit Scotland!! I'm so glad you liked it, it certainly is a very special place :)) If you come back you should definitely visit Skye (outside the main tourist season if you can as it gets super busy) - it's my favourite place on earth!

My family is from Scotland but I live in America - the highlands have you feel some type of way - so grounded and connected to the world in ways you’d never think of. Now I’m in UNI and I go to a school in the upper peninsula of Michigan and I think you’d love it Jade. It just makes you feel like you’re just a part of a whole that is nature.
