I must be mad! I just took a 10hr flight to Mexico with a toddler. We are not new to travelling. We have travelled twice before but not in the Toddler stage. I can confirm, It is not for the weak. However I am a mum of "Making Memories" and I will do the necessary to ensure we have moments of a lifetime.
The "fun" began way before the flight with an unexpected luggage issue. Then at the airport it was all about wearing him out. The real "fun" came, when I had to entertain him beyond all the entertainment I brought.
Then there was the fatigue... it goes on
But being seated next to really lovely passengers made it all worthwhile, But TUI count your days, from luggage issues to serving a meal once!!
My advice: If travelling for long hours, take every entertainment possible. Also, take the mindset that babies/toddlers will be babies/toddlers and their "behaviour" is simply normal given the length of time
Comment and share your experience of travelling with your little ones, whether they are babies, toddlers or children.
