Just want to say how lucky you are to have Jordan and your family. Many years ago I was hit by a drunk driver and needed surgery. When I called my now ex wife to tell her she only asked about what car I was driving. It was her main vehicle and her only concern. But it’s the only reason I lived. She left me at the hospital and my friends needed to help me on the mend. Seeing the love your surrounded by is beautiful. I appreciate you and your channel. I hope your recovery is quick and well. “If people live in pain like this…” I have chronic migraines and I am working on a 4 day migraine. It feels like someone is trying to drill through my head. Lots of us live with chronic pain every day you couldn’t even imagine. Thank you for bringing a voice to it. Hope you are feeling better, dude. You were very funny after the surgery.

When I had that surgery I received a nerve blocker. Never again. That was a horrible feeling, a numb agony. I would risk addiction to pain killers any time.
I also tore my bicep tendon surfing. I came back 100%. sorry bro! Major injuries are part of surfing as we all know. this is the upside: you injured it and got your surgery at the end of winter imagine how bummed you would be if you injured it in November. good luck -you'll be fine way before winter
Watching this from a hospital bed recovering from surgery. These first few days are going to suck but let's kick our recoveries in the ass and get back to surfing. Wishing you a speedy recovery! 🤙

You’re so freakin funny bro. Yeah, anesthesia will change you for a day. Take my advice…unless you are in horrible pain don’t take Oxycontin. That shit will destroy your life if you get addicted to it. It takes less than a week to be hooked. Please be cautious. Tell your wife you love her more. Dennis comes a distant 2nd place. Telling her that is so important. Alright, get well soon. You will be fine. While recovering you can edit some different types of wave videos. Best times videos. Barrel vids and a lot more. Went through the same thing (and suffered front and back rotator cuff damage as well) successful surgery and climbed into my physical therapist's back pocket for 7 weeks. did every thing I was told. It turned out well- Ben I wish the same results for you. Keep the faith bruddah.!!!
Thank you Joran! Great job taking care of our boy! That anesthetic took a long time to get out of my body . I hated feeling loopy like that! The worst was my driver's license was expiring and in CA you have to go in person to renew it & this was within weeks. I remember trying to sign my name & couldn't get my fingers to do it (they don't care "x" was good). They have no mercy here! Thanks to my son in law Chris for driving me and daughter for taking care of me! It's just a process to work through. I know you know you'll be amazed how fast this will pass & you'll be right back at it! Best wishes to all for your speedy recovery!

I tore my distal off in 2017.. having a full arm cast in an L shape sucks! But on a positive note your bicep will look bigger after.. did for me at least.
Feb 21st was my surgery for the exact same injury, exact same arm, tring to do the exact same thing on a wave. We good bro. Its gonna be an easy recovery. Ww got this!!

Tore / detached my right bicep doing jujitsu . Had it reattached with a pin. It’s now as strong as ever and I surf with no real issues from it. You’ll heal up just fine brother.
