I have one with the same materials. Today, while looking at the inside of it without opening it, I got the impression that the liners have small rust spots, even though I've had it for only two weeks and it's mostly been stored away. It would be quite disappointing if that's the case, as in the country where I live, this pocket knife costs twice the price when converted.

I like the Demko AD20.5 and I am glad like they are coming down in price. A set of O.G. scales is a huge upgrade, and really makes it feel like a premium knife. Sweet hat too man!

Now I need you to return one small favor, aside from glorious content you provide us all. I’ve posted only ONE RU-vid vid, ever. It’s a sub 4 min unboxing of the 20.5, in the style of Hank Hill. I’d love for you to take a few mins out your days and watch it and have a laugh, if you think it’s funny. My mom does! I’m not out here tryna get subs for real, I did it for fun. Glad you finally got sharks foot in hand, and you like it. With the right scales, and maybe better steel for “those people” who are all uppity about it, I don’t mind the Aus10 for my needs, it’s a great all arounder EDC. Like you said… 😊 I have 4! As they are great for customization. And the clip point is great too and a tad longer Bye bye now!

Yeah man mine 20.5 gets a lot of pocket time! I put the deep pocket clip on it. Makes a big difference. Great vid hope all is well!

do you work in video production? quality is always super crisp. great videos for real. Also good on you for making the distinction between Taiwan & China i didn't fall in love with the Titanium version of the 20.5, but i have small burger king hands. The lock is definitely fidgety, i didn't care for the super different detent behavior, i couldn't reverse flck it reliably without adding a lot of wrist. Your box is also way fancier, had i gotten the grivery in sharkfoot i may have liked it more, but the last nail in the coffin was the tips bevel being wildly uneven.

@@TristateEDC i'd say it answers more questions that I'd yet to ask. Makes a lot more sense then, Mechanical? I meet a lot of engineers in my day Job of begrudgingly running a smokeshop. We're right down the road from Locked, Mitsubishi power systems, and JBT so I'm always being nosey; Meet a lot of knife pals that way too. Spot someones milled TI or better yet Zircati pocket clip and i know they're a capable spender. Nobody ever gets the burger king comment so kudos to you good sir.

Ordered an Ad20.5 from knife center. They have the 3v version on sale for $165 so I had to pull the trigger. I'm chomping at the bit for mine to show up.

I love this knife I just ordered my 4th one. The first thing I do is take the grivory scales off and slap on g10 flytanium scales. I also have the textured titanium version in 3V.

Awesome unboxing, interesting haul of knives. The 20.5 If I was to go for one it would probably be the titanium and 3v version at this point as it's definatly a better knife overall at its price point. Still a solid work knife either way, definatly a bit of a premium for the name though. Thanks for the look see Kole and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

I spent a lot of money buying knives in the last 10-15 days during the sales, the promotions amongst all the reviews. And I passed on the Demko AD 20.5, I still don't get the hype. I don't feel like I am missing out at all. For those that do love this knife, good on you. Different tastes is what makes this community lively. I type this as I set here fippin my new WE Knife Primoris, in 20CV, Carbon Fiber and Titanium, I paid just under two hundred for it and feel its a much better value than the Demko AD 20.5. Cheers you all.

i had one for a week or two and the bevel was uneven. Titanium version looked nicer but it was way too heavy. if they do a smaller version of it at some point i'd be all over it. but as it sits i just didn't care for the detent characteristics. posted a couple shorts with it.

I love it, but yeah in terms of value it’s not great but I love it enough that I don’t care, I just spent a lot of money to build my perfect version of it and I have no regrets! 😂 different strokes for different folks right?

@@andyhayward1261 Yes, of course. We all have free will. My beef is not with the design. I have handled it, its a very smooth knife, great design. But I just can not get myself to spend money on a knife with materials of a low quality and then go spend more money in an effort to make it valuable to me. To each his own indeed. I also do not condemn anyone that buys a clone from China, you can get one in D2 blade steel with excellent quality textured Titanium scales for forty bucks. I have handled one of them also. Its a world wide free market.

@@TopDog8762 yeah I actually got one of the clones to see what it was like and the fit and finish was incredible for the price but the lockbar was thinner than on the real thing so it rattled around and the spring they were using in it was shorter than in the real one so the detent/action was nowhere near as good. Originally I was hoping to take the blue ano textured ti scales from the clone and put it on the authentic grivory version but that didn’t work out. I am going to buy some new springs to put in the clone to see how it improves the action

And also.....I have NO IDEA why I feel this way...... but I just had the most OVERWHELMING urge to want to spend Christmas morning at your house with you guys cooking up a large breakfast for everyone with fresh ground coffee and homemade pancakes with bacon and sausage and biscuits.....opening up all the presents with a nice warm fire going in the background....... lol I know I'm crazy.... but I get that cozy warm feeling when I watch your channel.... you know all wrapped up on the couch with a warm fleece blanket and over sized fluffy slippers for all!!!!! Lol
