Hey friends, for those asking about the work day tracker I used, it's now available in the description!

Matt, I have such a disdain for, like, 99% of DP RU-vidrs, and your channel falls squarely in that 1% of just sheer excellence. Love the amount of work and honesty you put into your channel, how you come at things differently and the general caliber of your productions.

Thank you Kenny! I really try to take an honest approach to the channel. More stuff to come!

13 shooting days is not that bad when you start out. Prep and Post consume loads of time while being on set mostly is the smallest amount. Keep it up Matt!

Love the perspective of seeing how you breakdown time allocated to all these different parts of your work! Was curious if you could explain what you used or how you went about calculating your time spent on each thing?

Hey Awesome Video. I literally posted my first ever Year End video yesterday as well. Full credit to Wandering DP haha. I went backwards from you- started shooting and now work as a full time commercial gaffer.

Hey Matt, could you tell us aswell how you keep track of all these informations. Seems like you’re using numbers, but to have it aswell shown in a diagram is pretty cool. I haven’t found an easy way yet to do that. Would highly appreciate! Thanks!

Hello I want to start my video journey for music videos What do you recommend is a good “starter “ budget friendly camera but also good quality to shoot

Question, were you expecting the days of color grading to be higher than what you achieved? Also, for you color grading does that include practicing on your own instead of being at Red Lab?

Days spent in colour reflects how many projects I shot. Hopefully this number will increase along with shooting more projects! 🤞1 out of the 4 days was a client gig I coloured myself

Hey Matt, I just finished watching your video on youtube and it really did help me a lot, dude your content is solid and you provide a ton of value, so thanks a lot for that) But I found out that the thumbnails of your videos seem like they're poorly designed and not optimized for High CTR for a business channel. And I can fix that, I've found out the exact methods even Iman Gadzhi is using in his thumbnails to increase the CTR by speaking to various RU-vid experts, which I could replicate in your chann annel and Increase increase th the CTR like crazy I'll do one thumbnail for free and then you can check and see the quality of my work and only then pay me for the rest of the thumbnails. Does that sound like a fair deal?:) And here are some of the thumbnails I did yesterday for a current client:
