The amount of backlash on this video is crazy. However, I would like to own up to my ignorance although I made this video with no intent to shame delivery drivers. They're all hard workers and to this day I'm impressed on how efficient they can be. Respect to them & my apologies to everyone I've offended. I'll make sure to make up for it! :)

As a UPS driver, let me explain what that driver was doing... he’s taking a break. He’s found a place that’s out of the way of people, traffic, etc... that’s safe. We don’t have break rooms and some guys don’t have time or like to sit in restaurants to eat.. we are always on a schedule. Evidently, your stop was not near the top of his list. Don’t bash a guy who’s minding his business taking a break from work because you want your packages right now. You can always wait until he reaches you. The package will be delivered on time, that day. If your packages aren’t Next day air... they are not priority.

I'm a UPS driver and yes that's the type of place we would take our breaks, no time to get food. We open our lunch boxes in an area out of the way of the public, take our 20 mins, and then get back to it.

I’m not sure what I just saw. As a delivery driver I am horrified that you had the nerve to follow that UPS driver and come up to him like that he was CLEARLY ON BREAK! I’ve had some incidents when I’m delivering to a locker ppl ask if they can get their packages, guess what I tell em? That they will get a notification once it’s been delivered. You have zero respect.

I tracked a UPS driver who spent over 4 hours parked down my block and he still didn't deliver my package on time that day. They are super lazy. I rather stick to FedEx. At least FedEx has better customer service.

Before Covid, drivers would drop of the packages at a pick up site early in the morning and then leave the delivery slip on the door in the evening without even knocking on the door. I already verified with the employees at the pick up spot. This is the first time I'm actually getting my packages on time and delivered at my door. Because since the drop off spots are closed, the driver's don't have any other choice BUT to do their job the right way. Don't get pissed off at people for pointing out that the company you work for has incompetent management and offer poor services. It's not our fault that most of your coworkers suck at what they do.

Listen here, lady. Our main priority is to make sure those packages are delivered on time. No delivery service provider in their right mind is going to go up to your apartment door and hand you your packages to you unless it's something expensive. If we did that all the time we would never finish on time or at all. Which leads to complaints, writes up and termination.
