I lived in the states for a bit and I used to go to flea markets and when I was in Japan the same but I wish I had know about garage sales via the likes of Facebook marketplace when I was there. This channel is great and but I love the CATRP CREW channel as much as if not more. Great insights to the day to day

We received hundreds and hundreds of trade offers. The people that traded also didn’t necessarily want to spend or have the money for a PS5, which is why they appreciated doing trades for items they didn’t care for anymore
Anyone whining and going on about it being fake clearly has no clue what they're doing with this. Just because (YOU) in your area where you live have no one looking to offload what they deem just junky items for a next gen console, does not mean that it doesn't work out for others. I've secured so many trades for next gen consoles for 2-3x the retail. All I can say about the bitching and moaning is, get over it and try again.
I did this with 3 PS5's and none of them would trade because the offers I got were absolutely stupid. Some people offered a DS. a ps4, a xbox. Single item crap. Nothing is this easy like the video claims

I've been collecting and selling games for over 20 years. I own 3 local game shops and about to open the forth. I can whole heartedly tell you that this video has a high probability of being staged. This PS5, Switch, Xbox etc trade method simply does not work. Although the video does indeed suggest it's a difficult task you'll never get offers like a 3DO with a sealed game. Not only was it 1 great hault it was 3. We tried this with several PS5's in our shop, marketplace, and kijiji. All 116 offers in a single week were garbage. The ones that weren't garbage knew exactly what the cost of each item using price charting and tried to undercut the value of a PS5. So unless you want to trade a PS5 for its actual value (same as using cash) then you probably wont get anything. Typical RU-vidr video.
Sorry it didn’t work out for you. But just because you tried for 1 week and didn’t secure a trade… doesn’t mean it didn’t work out for us. We did mention it took several weeks with hundreds of offers to get 5 trades. Some of which weren’t even that great. But no, nothing was “staged” . Nothing has ever been staged on the channel. We simply make videos about our business and consistently mention and show how it takes a lot of hard work. Thanks for watching
Sometimes people don't give a damn what they got when they see the newest all the rage console going for trade when they have what they consider junk. I've made many trades with people for games that just didn't care about the value because they wanted next gen consoles for to them, no cash out of pocket. This is by far one of the better methods to get good titles, in bulk as well. Offering cash is great, but people really do like a good hustle.
I mean who would trade $1500 worth of stuff for a $600 PS five I just don’t get it. Yeah you guys win That guy gets fucked. Congratulations I mean all he has to do is sell haunting ground and the PS4 pro and he’s already gonna have change left over for his PS five. Makes zero sense on his end.
He was very happy to trade everything. He didn't care much for the items he traded, and acknowledged that he didn't want to take the time to sell everything. Not everyone cares to maximize, some people prefer convenience. It's fine for people to do which ever they want.
