People gonna say stuff like Base Set or Aquopolis/Skyridge but tbh my favorite set has to be Celestial Storm. Opened a bunch of it a few years ago, and those Rayquaza cards go pretty hard.
I didn't realize it till after I was done recording the video but my first card I got for Ultra Prism to start the set and the last card I got to complete the set both happened in that card game store. I love trips down memory lane!
@13:39 Let me Eiscue a question.....how excited are you to complete the most recent set AND your favourate Sun/Moon set?😂I was waiting for you to make that joke in the video, but decided to comment with it when you didn't.
Ok, those cut backs to the historic videos are absolutely wild. Didn't collect between 2002-2009 and 2011-2020, so seeing the Sun & Moon stuff out and about when people were relatively less into Pokemon post-2016 is incredible to see.
@@RealBreakingNate One of your (and Dani’s) strengths in content is your sheer number of years in the hobby. Sharing how it ‘used to be’ is something that not every content creator can do! I remember seeing Crystal Guardians, HGSS, and Platinum filling store shelves in 09-10, but never would have thought to video them!
Congratulations on not one, but TWO complete Pokémon card binders!!! Part of me wants to see a full episode of you trying to find the reverse holos for sets, or doing a live stream of you and Marie placing reverse ordered online into the various binders and celebrating the complete binders when they are done! 😄
Awesome idea taking pictures and having this note card for finishing a set. :) Really fun video - congratulations for completing both of the sets. Greetings from Germany!
I can’t believe you completed “Scarlet & Violet: Obsidian Flames” already! I haven’t even started collecting ANY of the Scarlet & Violet era cards yet!!
I was lost at first to the references to the ultra prism but I got there in the end ha ha. Another 2 sets down is insane, congrats. I love seeing you at the trade nights, it always looks so much fun.
Wow that little camera printer is pretty amazing, what an awesome way to preserve the memories... This is absolutely amazing and love to see you complete these sets! So fun, thanks for sharing!
As far as sets that I'm still working on currently, I'd have to go with Neo Destiny. But in general, I'd have to say the Rumble promo set (where the artwork for the short set is all retro videogame artwork).
Ultra prism was what got me into the tcg it I’d had always collected cards but didn’t know about sets or expansion it was the first set I actually got a binder for and started collecting so if I had to complete any set to 100% it would be Ultra prism
Hey Nate if you come to the NAIC in New Orleans where I live I want both of you to sign my Charizards before I send them off to PSA to get graded cause you are my inspiration and favorite poketuber
@RealBreakingNate I'm now more curious as to what cards those are. I'm all the way in California, but if I ever get the chance to meet you at an event, I definitely want to be able to give you something for the Pokémon Card Library. Especially with how underrated Rebel Clash is.
