@@samrobinson1823 When I bought my new F-150 the salesman was all about the new twin turbos slapped onto the exhaust of a v6. I looked online and people were having issue's with carbon deposits on the middle cylinder heads from the oil. Only fix being to seafoam it, buy 2 new turbos a year later or replace the heads. Maybe they are better now, they had just come out with EcoBoost back then, but no way. I went tired and true 5.0L Coyote engine, solid block and head gaskets, easy to maintain, cheap on readily available parts. 160,000 kms later on my 5.0L supercab 6-1/2' box 4x4, only repairs I've had are a water pump and plugs I changed myself. Only wish I would have bought a crew cab version with a 6-1/2', but back then I didn't have a wife with 3 children.

I've had my 1997 Grand Marquis for about 12 years. It hit 250,000 miles last year so I rarely drive it now. The most expensive breakdown was a cracked intake manifold and ball joints but that was over 6 years ago. I love that car but its just too old now 😂

Thing rips. I say you do a nice Prerunner build with this beast. Fiberglass, suspension, wheel/tire set up,. Still daily-able but can throw down some dirt roads. Not sure how many others on the road are already getting work done since they are so new and so expensive but you could be one of the first! you may end up liking the Prerunner dirt scene as well lol

I like how the first gen raptor was excellent, and they're just making them better and better in little bits. It isn't just a different trim level, Raptors actually have quite a bit of performance suspension parts stock. Totally understand wanting this supercharged 5.2 over a v6. The v6 is a fantastic engine and makes sense on paper, but not having the v8 sound on a gas truck like this one feels like you're missing out when this thing exists. Plus the r probably makes 200 more hp over the 3.5eb. Things like this make living life more exciting lol. Cant wait to see what they do to it!

I got my Shelby at Bob Davidson’s ford. I wanted a specific color gt350 when they stopped production and I couldn’t find one anywhere but they got me one. Lol it was a long drive for me but well worth it.

hearing that truck fire up is how this all starts. he won't understand why he loves the sound of vehicles and shit as he ages, he will just be drawn towards them. videos like these are how parents can program the little ones to be hotrodders. i don't remember my dads big block vette or anything from when i was a baby, but the second i heard something with even half a cam, i was in the window, face pressed, trying to guess what it is before i could see it. now 30 years later, i still press my nose to windows when something cool is coming.

Ya gotta start thinkin about an equipment rack over the bed, brush guard up front with an attached winch, a cab level roof rack STOCKED with equipment, a few jerry cans, tool chest in the bed, a good length of some solid, heavy duty rope or maybe a steel braided tow cable, a secondary spare in the bed, (or maybe mount a winch on the equipment rack over the bed to have the 2nd spare that could drop down!!🤔 Plenty of illumination around the roof rack, able to be angled however.. There may be half racks too, so you won't take up ALL the room in the bed, so maybe a bed crane too?? I mean, it's the new shop truck, right?? Why not have it equipped to be a rescue/repair truck for the crew??🤔

Meanwhile the regular cab can go 8's easily once the boost creep is figured out, definitely for different applications. The 5.2 block can handle 1200rwhp all day as-is, will have the same issues with the transmission. But that TKM/MP regular cab, will eat the whole fleet on an unprepared surface. Just get a tune for the Raptor, just removing the torque management in first and second gear will do a ton.

I've been looking for a new diesel truck but as I'm not in a massive hurry I've been reading reviews on dealerships looking for the ones that have been charging "market adjustments". The list of what seems to be honest, good dealerships is shrinking fast! They're out there but normal customers really have to search for them to get a new vehicle at MSRP.
