If you tap the brake it stops you from rotating so u can land flat. This should help for the second jump where you land backwards You can also rotate 180 just before the jump so you land going forward
you could place the top boosters in the other direction. they don't affect you backwards it'd force backwards driving at the end. ... just so you know... ya know ...
@@darealkosmo if you want to know how to do that. Just go to play -> local -> play a map -> select your map and then after opening up you ha e the leaderboard on the left (sometimes it's hidden so just click the clock) and then press on the name. Then you can see their run. If you also click on the eyes you can see the others aswell.
did not play this, but just from view: You placed red boosters the "correct" way, so if you, while jumping up, manage to press steering key at the point of lift off, you will make 180 and land forwards, which will get you all the booster power and be way faster than going backwards. To enforce backwards driving on road like this, you have to place booster backwards - If you drive forwards through it - it will slow you down. If you drive backwards through backwards booster - it will have no effect.
why did you loop around so much when going forward and up the wall a little, turning 180 and driving out the opening jump would get the job done much faster?
You definitely win this week in my eyes. You always make some of the most creative tracks, even if the others get confused by them haha. Love the idea of going , "Against the grain" with the builds and making something you wouldn't typically see.
probably kosmo's exit from the bowl, but you flip yourself around on the big jump up to take advantage of the red boosters because they don't work if you're going backwards
You could use a plastic block at the top of the jump, position it right and it can bounce you - if the car is rotating slightly it will cause it to turn and land a little straighter.... Also, boosters don't work when driving backwards, unless they are also backwards ;)
There is actually an escape room track someone made. Could be a fun activity, although I'm not sure what the skill level is. The team I saw try it were all pros. Lots of puzzles to solve, like an IRL escape room and needed team play for some of them.
you should not tell people tips around your map, the fun is see they struggly to finish your map, when you help them early in the game, your video is over there, you should not do that, my opinion :D
Did you know? Driving backwards can get you past the speed limit that is put on forward driving. Once you get a certain speed, you will need to use a controller that can do tiny turns, otherwise you will spin out. Someone did do a combination of keyboard and controller to get faster times with that technique. (IDK what map it was) If you also want to go past the (bug fixed) backward speed limit, just don't press backwards.
@@schlumpy1169 Thanks for correcting me. It is the right game, but to accelerate, one needs to constantly steer, even if they're small inputs, that's the part I couldn't remember. "not allowed anymore" as in not allowed to submit time records?
@@KittenKatja in tm 2020 you can't get faster than 999 and forwards is always faster. There is a way how you can be faster backwards but u need Speedslides for that. And drx tools are forbidden and count as cheats. If you would drive a run with a third party tool that gains you an advantage your time Willem get removed and your account maybe even banned.
And I think you mean tm2 valley with the backwards driving. Which is not the same game as tm2020. And there I believe these sort of runs would count as cheating now as well, but as the game is older and not that popular kt might be that it's not really punished there.
@@schlumpy1169 I watched the Wirtual video on that matter specifically because you called me out in your first comment. It is possible to go backwards without 3rd party software, KRIP was the first one to do that with a combination of keyboard and delicate controller movement. Wirtual participated in a backwards tournament, in a later video.
