I take a trip to the other side of the world in pursuit of my favorite fish. This was a major challenge in so many ways but definitely worth the effort! I can’t wait to go back to South Korea next year to do it again.

By far your best yet. You got to showcase on a lake you've never seen and wrecked it! I love the idea of you traveling the country and trying new lakes when not on tour. Try candlewood lake sometime. One of the best smallie lakes in the Northeast besides Champlain I think. We fish it in tournaments all the time. Keep it up!

Hi Scott, I'm so glad that you enjoyed your trip and catching some decent bass in South Korea! I'm a student studying for PhD at the UF who love bass fishing and your videos just have brought me back home. I'm so blessed to be here in Gainesville, Florida not only for studying but also for catching big old Florida strain larges, but I miss fishing in my country a lot. Bass fishing in South Korea has not been appreciated by people for some reason, however, it has been growing so fast for last 30 years and now it's the most popular type of fishing in the country. Thanks so much for introducing bass fishing in South Korea and I hope you will make it next year to interact with Korean anglers and catch more Korean bass!!!

Don’t apologize for freaking out. It just shows that you love bass fishing and it still excites you. If you don’t feel like freaking out from bass fishing then you should just quit because that’s why you should do it, it gives people an awesome feeling.

My favorite video on this channel. That was awesome. In the world we live in today isn't it amazing how bass fishing can bring people together from such different walks of life. @Scott Martin...that was pretty damn cool. I am a firefighter in Virginia , born in South Korea, been state side since I was 11. I can't believe there is Bass fishing in my motherland. My cousin in Korea told me about it and I just could not believe my eyes when I saw your youtube video. I have buddies in my job who are die hard Bass fisherman and I am going to tell all of them about this video. Actually one of them is starting to fish through FLW developmental circuit regularly now. Was in Korea for Ultra Korea. Wanted to really fish for Bass but didnt know anything about the place. Ended up fishing in an indoor fishing place in Hongdae near Honggik Uni. Was fun.

Those last 2 fish were getting into quality size. Right on!!! That is a beautiful lake. I wonder what the biggest bass caught there weighed? The "Korean record bass"..........Anybody know???
