Great maintenance and repairs; something eskom lacked over a period of 30 years😢

Not quite, the main exodus of qualified workers started in about 2010, so last 15 years in my estimate have seen the worst decline and corruption of course.

Being saying this for years, many nuclear submarines run off small reactors sealed and fueled for 20 years ! So why can’t these be used to power coastal cities around South Africa ? In other words, submerged , water all around for heat control , virtually maintenance free and very safe !

Fascinating.. I notice the Soviet era architecture prevails, yet it’s still standing here. Further south around Irkutsk and Baikal, it was crumbling and even uglier. Only the Tsarist buildings survived intact. Seems they built better in the permafrost.. ugly but practical.. Russia is leading perhaps? Thanks for this insight .. who would have thought 🏗️⚒️

Soviet Era building are been replaced everywhere with modern buildings... Not happening in the USA, there's no money to replace old outdated buildings, USA needs to spend atleast U$20Tril to upgrade, replace old infrastructure which includes outdated apartment blocks, Bridges, Roads, Railway lines etc this excludes new ones.. Current infrastructure was build to accommodate 250mil people the population is 335mil now.. When will this happen? With the Budget deficit getting bigger, Bankrupt municipalities etc.. USA is 3rd world already

People work on oil rigs in Alaska USA with much less facilities so why not? If you're young wants to learn a skill while earning 3x above average doing this for 3-5 years it makes perfect sense, you can safe 80% of you earnings per month, when you move to another region after 5 years you are way ahead of the average student who's in massive debt at that stage...

If Russia runs its power stations this competently why did the DA and South African media oppose Zuma's nuclear power station deal with Russia, Its seems that South African politicians wont allow anything good to happen to us unless they have their hands in the cookie jar as well, the GNU has proved this beyond a reasonable doubt that politicians are more than happy to allow our suffering so long as they personally benefit.

Doubled production in the last 8 years!!
