Hey guys, Its summer time and sunscreens are very very important.
So I tried 11 Popular Sunscreens from the Indian Market and rated them on a scale of 5.
The rating was based on my skin type and my personal preference, so the opinion on a certain product may vary.

Not trying to bash anyone here, just my honest opinion.. You're rating sunscreens on the basis of how they feel on the skin, which is so wrong. Sunscreens are the most important thing in today's life because in the end, it saves us from getting cancer, if we overlook other aspects like pigmentation or premature aging. Before reviewing anything, you should search for basic facts like the ingredients present which may protect or cause damage in the long term. Some of the sunscreens you rated 5/5 have ingredients that can harm us. Also, you overlooked the fact that some of these basically are waste of money as they provide no protection whatsoever. While buying a sunscreen, you should always see the ingredients, the research done on them, if they've 50++++ UVA, UVB and so much more.

99% of sunscreens in the market are for dry skinned folks, so unfair. The brands have forgotten the oily skinned demographic. As India is a hot and humid country, there needs to be an equal amount of matte sunscreens. I for one can hardly use the sunscreens mentioned here since I have oily skin in the summers and cannot even wear moisturiser.

You should really try the derma co one mentioned in this video. I have very oily skin and it works like a charm on me. Literally feels like i have nothing on my skin and gives really good sun protection too. It's one of my holy grails. It's the only sunscreen that doesn't leave my skin dripping with oil within five mins.

Totally agree, I tried many sunscreens but even the most that claim to be for oily skin leave the skin greasy or with white cast and sticky feel. Not happy at all in terms of sunscreen for oily skin

I totalllyyyyyy agree on the minimalist wala thing.. I have an oily skin and it feels so so soooo heavy on skin.. Sweatung hota hai... Skin glossy lagta hai.. Not good.. Now I apply it on my body and lotus one on my face.. It's really good

Derma co 1 % hyaluronic acid is a hybrid sunscreen not physical sunscreen. Before advising to others, please read ingredients first many people buy watching u people 😓

Thanks for the honest review. All the other popular influencers were raving about minimalist and I bought it. Its one of the worst sunscreens; gave me a lot of sweat and is definitely not to be used in April. I shall now use it in the winters and I’m not going to go back to minimalist.

Hi! Loved the video.. but there's a small correction that would be lovely if you note. Most of the sunscreens mentioned here are moisturising and not exactly only hydrating. The dermalogica one, derma co one and cosIQ ones are actually hydrating.. whereas ones like minimalist, neutrogena, wishcare and Cetaphil are moisturising. The difference is that hydrating substances attract water molecules onto its surface and moisturising substances trap the water molecules in and almost act as a barrier. When it comes to dry skin they need more of moisturization and hydration to some extent where as in case of oily skin we need to provide hydration and may not require as much moisturisation. Hope this helps 😇

Even I tried many sunscreens.. some were good but not as good as ThriveCo's SPF 50 Sunscreen. This sunscreen is non comedogenic, so doesn't clog pores, non greasy/non-oily , contains Hyaluronic Acid so keeps my skin glowing n smooth and the best thing is it not only protects from harmful UVA and UVB rays but also provides protection from Blue light emitted from smartphones and computers.

For one who's looking for best sunscreen with no white cast and budget friendly, I'll suggest you nutriglow vitamin c sunscreen. It's the best sunscreen at 250rs that even brightens and fades spots. I've seen results. First I was doubtful about that sunscreen cuz of nutriglow 10x brightening sunscreen it's leaves white cast. But it doesn't leave any white cast and blends easily also moisturizing.

Sorry, I disagree to the statement made on packaging for Cos Iq. They have done a fabulous job with respect to packaging as it is totally as per the hygiene point of view, airless pump packaging keeps the product safe as compared to tub or pipette packaging. And saves from oxidising.

both dermaco and aqualogica are hybrid sunscreens as the former has quite a few chemical filters and the latter has suncat DE which is a mixture of similar chemical filters.

Hey same here even I used aroma magic cucumber sunscreen recommend by fit tuber , it was not that bad but it use to leave oily on my face and has only spf 30 some im using this sunscreen I have dry sensitive skin, its a very good sunscreen no white cast, quick absorption, use this ull love it ! Aqualogica, Mamaearth and Derma co are from same company and they all have Homosalate. I am trying WishCare Invisble Gel Sunscreen as it is clean, given no white cast and no harmful chemical filters.

You're wrong, the aqualogica sunscreen has SunCat De and titanium dioxide as filters, which doesn't absorb through skin

I used aqualogica before, i liked the glow, the review for this is amazing everywhere. I am probably the first person who found it bit dull on my face. I am brown skin girl. It gives glow and looks good on face but when the temperature is high, it makes my skin looks dull. Then i tried mamaearth hydragel. Oh my god, best sunscreen i have ever used. Specially the texture, even if it is not gel based but anyone will surely love the texture. Its amazing. Only one problem, the quantity is too low, or may be i took out more as i loved to apply it so much😜 I thought to try out minimalist one but seeing your review, i think i should skip it for now, may be i will try it during winter.

Thanks for the honest review. I have always struggled with finding the perfect sunscreen for my face. I have bought WishCare Invisible Gel Sunscreen as it leaves no white cast, is light in texture, and absorbs well. It is also waterproof so I don't need to stress about reapplying it. I highly recommend this sunscreen

I'm using aqualagica glow + sunscreen , I have dry skin it works great on my skin, as she said it doesn't even feel like I've applied something because the sunscreens which I used before, use to give white casts and oily on my face but this sunscreen is not like that , it has very quick absorption, no white cast , gives lil glow on skin ,no fragrance and affordable too . I'm loving it I think this sunscreen is for dry/oily /normal everyone can use. I will try mama earth sunscreen too thankyou Nidhi !🥰😍

This is a huge list ranging from all sort of sunscreen. I personally like Mama Earth's sunscreen on my skin. Best thing is that it does not leave any white cast on my skin and is chemical free. ❤️

I bought lotus herbal sunscreen gel on your and many other's recommendation because I have oily skin but nidhi the sun screen is too sticky and after 10 minutes of application it peels off as white flakes as if it is a peeling mask, is anyone else also facing this or is it just me? It doesn't leave any cast but its very oily n dewy.... Hope it doesn't suit well if u are of oily skin

@@shrutiparamesh3034 i am already using this from past 15days. And yes I have oily skin I am pimple pron but still it never give me breakout. It gives a dewy finish which my face anyway looks dewy because of my oily skin. My foundation also looks nice on it. So one thing I can say it's a very good sunscreen and it's oily to supper oily skin without giving breakout.

I have used all the sunscreen except the second and the last oné but my experience with them was just the opposite of hers. I also have dry skin. I love the Minimalist one , Neutrogena irritated my eyes, Mamaearth one was peeling when makeup was applied on it.
