The funniest thing is that when the ele wanted a bow, they wanted to play it exactly the same way this works but arena net don't care. They gave us the spears with the highest apm in the entire game and nobody plays it💀
I am getting so much better at movement using this build. Not just getting out of the bad stuff, but lining up targets for piercing, LOS, etc. Hope it transfers to my other builds.
That’s awesome. I used Rifle Mech to learn all mechanics (Every CM except Harvest) because of that practice I can play the Mesmer mini game in the corner. Good Luck my dude.
this is where low intensity build shine, dps up time is probably the biggest thing most people can do to improve their performance, being able to concentrate on efficient movement in fights with a low intensity build is great.
Oh Lord. I have recently been working on my dmg rotations cos I feel I am super bad. Worked out a rotation on my full Vipers P/P Guardian where I do consistent 20k condition DPS, which I know is low but it's a huge improvement personally but MAN the buttons I need to press in specific orders...then I see THIS. Thanks Muk. I feel inadequate now. 😋
So i have used the deadeye build for quite a while now. go full dragons gear over zerkers and you'll see a slight dps increase as well as more health. helps with feeling squishy. also if you go deadeye take mercy over infiltraters signet. i easily push 30+k with 1 button press and have 2 stun breaks as well as being able to refresh deadeye's mark if for some reason you are spamming on inuln targets and run out of initiative.
You can take blindig powder instead of infiltrator signet and use it between unloads for more dps if you are worried about falling asleep during the encounter. It's also a lower cooldown stun break than signet
This is even more foolproof than the core Guardian because you're ranged and don't care about the boss moving. If you don't need CC, Thieves Guild should give you a little bit more DPS for pressing a button every once in a while. The piercing is nice but can be a problem if you aren't careful at bosses like Slothasor or Keep Construct. Potentially Matthias as well. A useful second weapon could be short bow for the movement if you need it and don't want to use Shadowstep.
It might sound funny but, I do use this build for one purpose and that is map completion. It kills stuff so fast and has great movement speed you can do map completion really fast.
Shameless self-advertisement, but we actually did a Temple of Febe Challenge Mode kill with 6 of those :D The damage uptime it provides is a really huge upside.
Always have a laugh when I come across someone else farming their 100 weekly mob kills with a subpar build (anything other than pp unload is subpar), and I just evaporate the mobs (as I'm passing through, I don't grief by camping their spot).. more than once I've been told "pls stop I'm trying to farm"..... I just link [Unload] in chat as I continue on my merry way 😁
problem with the build is if you have the 3 on auto attack that if you frequently dont get the last hit off in a fight you will end up staring at the boss until you have enough initiative again so be aware. But I liked using double pistol as quickness DE.
PP Deadeye is fun in open world. F1, F2, 3, mob dies resetting F1, rinse & repeat. For more HP use Maru instead of Zerker. Small dps lose for many HPs. I tend to use Maru in open world.
Run the Deadeye version with all Dragon's gear, press F1 occasionally, and you get 34k. Yes, 34k. That's what I went with and it's great. I tried fussing around with Berserkers gear to crit cap, and dps goes down. I'd highly recommend the Deadeye version for Strike/Fractals, because 34k is respectable, where as 27k is kind of meh. It's a great build to focus on mechanics, learn mechanics, or just have a chilled session. Also, you can change a single trait and now you give group quickness (at a dps loss), but that is also very nice.
RU-vid may have blocked it because it had a link in it. If you can post it without it being a complete URL it should work, or copy the build code from gw2 (sorry for the trouble).
@@MuklukRU-vid Thanks Muk. The title of the video is "34K DPS with 0 Buttons | (The Easiest DPS Build in Guild Wars 2)" by a content creator called Pseudo.
@@MuklukRU-vid See if you can't take the all Dragon's Deadeye variant for a spin Muk. I think you'll like it in group content. The extra DPS makes it feel viable when you show up and say "hi dps." I think it's the best build in game for people to actually learn new mechanics, because you don't have to focus on a rotation, it's ranged, it penetrates, and the dps is very respectable. With this 27k core thief build, you're going to get less and will not end up doing much more damage than the quickness or alacrity provider. It's not going to feel like you're really doing your job as DPS. Whereas the Dragon's Deadeye will put you markedly above a boon dps, usually in the top 4 spots depending on the encounter, and you'll feel like you are doing the DPS job with a low intensity build. Great CC too.
@@igottheshaft The way he's measuring the DPS to arrive at 34k gives him an undue advantage since Deadeye scales with number of boons and condis on golem. If it used the standard benchmark settings it would "only" be at around 31k DPS.
Been using this in Lab, with a shortbow for tagging...Some watchers of dps meters catch on, but idc. I paid for 2-3k auto crits, I'm using 2-3k auto crits lol.
I did not know you could change what the autocast is. I mean it obviously wouldn't work with many weapon abilities as cooldowns or cost factors. This to me is awesome purely because of its attack animation. One of my few issues with gw2 has always been the auto chains don't incorporate the offhand where applicable. Like I get why now but when I was new I had an engi and it made it almost unplayable for me seeing it auto shoot with the main hand and have the offhand pistol just point off to the side waiting for torch. Always thought certain weapon combos like dual pistol could atleast do alternating fire to look less awkward.
I actually posted on the forum about that. Professions weilding the same weapon should change their animation utilising their offhand with the autos. For example dual pistol engi should first fire with their main hand and them fire with their off hand, Or three attack chain combos :- first attack uses main, second attack uses offhand, and third uses both. I understand it requires some dev time to impliment but the technology is there and the animations are there also. Im no coding expert but my guess of doing it would be :- Use the dual attack on theives tech for all professions on their auto. Second and third auto attack would change by duplicating the existing auto attack and change the animation. Keeping the same attack values and cast time. Some animations can be placeholder too, until a new expac comes along and change stuff during launch. Imo animations are super important for smoother gameplay and fluidity. I remember when capes were first introduced and they changed the aesthetic of the game completely. Sorry for the tldr.
As someone who has to do a whole rotation to get this dps(although i do also output alacrity) this makes me upset. It should not be this easy to throw out this level of damage on any class. Anything you can put on repeat should not do more than 5-7k damage. It makes most of any classes kit either useless or makes that classes utility too good.
I doubt it's gonna get nerfed, it's very low damage after all. When mechanist got nerfed for the same reason it was doing considerably more, while top benches were lower across the board.
This build is so incredibly dumb 😂 been playing it for a while when I feel lazy, and it is just too good. Good for Labyrinth though. Running SB on trash and swap to guns for Steve and purple doors. Top damage 🤣
U can reach about 37≈38k (probably more with infusion) as Dardevil. Just by adding a dash into u're target, followed by impairing Dagger, and the other punches utility of dardevil (u can have the healing skill u prefer, and assassin signet increase the damage, and the the guild as ure elite skill) . The rotation is super simple : Opener : summon the guild Dash into u're target, press assassin signet (or not if u don't want ^^), impairing Dagger, followed by the other punching ability (that's it for the Opener) The the rotation is Just about : Dash into u're target, press unload (3x), then repeat...and use the others utility skills when available (don't summon the guild while fighting, it's not worth it it seems). Thats it. Just wear full berserker, relic of the thief and u good to go. U can reach ≈ 35k by using the healing trait from critical strike. In dardevil traits, u can pick the gain of endurance after using a physical attack, it seems to work pretty well too, but if u prefer u can pick the extra vitality trait
@@CuriousMoth the deadeye one is about pressing F2 after a cantrip Skill , or after F1 right ? If u're talking about this variant, it seems that it does less damage from what I tried. But it is working pretty well and it allows u to hit from range, and moving as u want. I was about 35k with the deadeye one
Few days ago i leveled up Thief using 2 pistols and autorepeat 3 .. i lost most of my brain cells .. Yes it's "op" .. you deleting everything arround you so quickly.. but is boring af.. I deleted the character after hitting lvl 80 .. was just experiment.. and i got disgusted by it..
been using basically this for my thieves to level and do open world content for years....shush, stop telling anet, they may notice (lol fat chance, too busy buffing willbenders and nerfing mesmers to notice anything).
Perfect build for the Casuals (tm) with 4 jobs, 3 wives, 18 children, 27 hobbies that only have 15 minutes to play a day! Amazing! No effort required whatsoever! Then again, they will still complain that you have to move your character around with WASD. Sigh. Oh, well.
