I'm so glad that you showed the different versions for the reverse plank. I had never seen it where you are actually balancing mid-air between two benches. I'd only seen the version on the floor with arms extended behind you. I haven't been able to do it for a minute though. So watching this and seeing the different versions and hearing your explanations really helped. The same for toes to bar. I get really bad cramps in my abdomen when trying any move like that even if I'm doing it on the floor. I have no idea why though. So it's really frustrating to me. I've used manual hand massages and fascia massage tools to work out the cramping. Again, it's frustrating. So thank you for your explanations they were really helpful.
I love that you explained how to do these moves! I've lost 100lbs mostly through diet and walking and now I'm adding more exercise so this was super helpful!!!

I do L hangs with pullups daily for sets of 6 to 10 depending on when I do them...hahaha that should motivate you...I love your pre breathing with tongue out panting hahahaha! for real I do that tooo, total theatrics for the mental body! Fun video. Love the long format. I always thought that because of my gymnastics background...ring specialist...the strength and skills transfered to anything else I did except, running. Haha. Not a good runner w my short little legs. When doing on-the-ground V-ups I have to use ankle weights to even out the weight discrepancy between upper and lower body . I love the way you cross correlate the different styles of working out. I'm gonna say, typical gymnast. One who analyzes and can do different movements. In the end it's all a gymnastics trick. I recently changed my workout again doing all manner of press hands usually using parallets. It's amazing, tho I was able to push quite a bit of weight it didn't translate to doing presses. I almost have my hollowback again. I was bulkier than I've been like in a body building look, but struggled w presses. The cover shot of you....girl you are stunning! I had no idea. Normally, you look like a typical gym rat, someone cool to hang with. Haha.
I thought the more conditioned you are the faster your heart recovers...You are strong in lungs and heart...go with it...You are such a good teacher. You explain all the variables and scenarios...the thumbs over is called, "monkey grip". That's what we called it back in the day. I have pinkie fingers that are REALLY SHORT! The tops of my pinky fingers do not reach the 1st phalange on my ring finger, there fore my fingers are like "hooks". to improve my grip I also practice doing variation pull ups using 3 fingers, I do that with cables and dumbells as long as my face isn't in the path, LOL that would hurt. I'm trying all of this...Thank you I did enjoy it so much!

3:33 IDK if you have the ability to do so but I personally have the same issue when doing chest and shoulders or chest and tricep training so I start my session off by hitting the punching bag for 10 minutes then during my rests I hit the punching bag to keep my heartrate up, you need to really give it a good hit and work on combos that end in right/left hooks where u put your whole body in but between sets just throw as many jabs as you can.

Do people who go to Olympia actually get referred to as Olympians? Because I kind of hate how miscommunicative that can be… Really interesting to hear your commentary on the differences between bodybuilders vs gymnasts vs crossfitters! Would love to see you try out Olympic weightlifting! This summer Olympics were incredibly inspiring. I was obsessed!!
Have you tested your max heart rate? There is a lot of natural variation. There was a good article online about elite rowers, how some maxed in the 220s, others in the 160s.

@@kristoforlearmonth4939Do yoga every day. It improves posture. Then, when you go to do squats it helps keep the alignment of the joints. At 50, I’m making more gains than when I was younger because of yoga.

Its crazy how content creators can't use clips of Olympians doing their thing. Not even a 2-second clip is allowed😮. Fair use completely out the window.
