Does anyone else from the UK or Ireland around 1986 or so remember Prescriptives Makeup? They used to do a customised foundation, it was so good but quite expensive for me as a 21 year old young Mum. I got one foundation and it was totally perfect. However when I saved up again and went to buy it the person at the makeup counter said it was no longer available because the company was no longer trading. I often think of it yet.

I bought the foundation in the Black Friday sale and it really does work. Considering most cameras on phones are pretty naff it worked out perfect. I’ve just finished going through chemo so needed a pick me up and treat and it needed to be a perfect match so I had no foundation line. Their app scans your face a few times and they do ask you what coverage you want and what finish and also what type skin you have. i.e. oily, dry etc. I chose light to medium with a natural finish and it was spot on. I would say it is also buildable if you wanted it to be. I was feeling pretty rough the day I tried it and ended up falling asleep with it on. Even the following morning there was no separation around the nose or mouth area. I don’t know what magic goes into creating this foundation but it’s the first time in 55 years I’ve felt that I’m wearing the foundation and not the other way around. It’s just perfect and definitely worth a try. I will definitely be investing in the concealer and drops ;) Because it’s custom made you won’t have anyone wanting to ‘borrow’ your foundation

I thought the drops gave your skin warmth and made the blusher a little more warm toned but the foundation was spot on and the blusher seemed cooler.

You can choose your coverage as well as getting the colour match. The customer service is amazing. Great company all round.

I have this foundation in 3 different formulas. Best match I have ever had and the formula wears well. When taking your photos it’s important to follow the instructions.

My skin used to be oily ( I guess it still is ) but since I started to wear Niacinamide from Deciem ( the ordinary line ) I have noticed that my skin is a lot less oily and I don't need to do anything during the day, Niacinamide is amazing...that foundation is really nice, well done.

Wayne I also have an open plan very high ceiling home (in the US where everyone keeps the heat on 24/7). Getting ceiling fans cut down so much on the heating costs! You can reverse the direction in the winter to push the hot air down (or something, I’m not sure what) and then in the summer they keep the house much cooler. And I love the perfect match foundation. I also didn’t believe it would work LOL.

I second this! I was oddly skeptical of ceiling fans for winter until I moved into a place with high ceilings. They're pretty darned amazing and they have some really awesome artistic ones out there, too, that are affordable.

Thanks Wayne. I swear I find out about the best things through your channel! This foundation sounds promising. It'll be interesting to see how well this matches black skin, given we can have different shades on different parts of our face, sometimes and deal with hyperpigmentation. Also, in a case where the neck is darker than the face, due to the previously stated reasons, I wonder which the foundation would be matched to.

re: heating with tall ceilings.. candles in iron or other hard metal holders make an amazing difference in room temps..pro tip..fans must be circulating from top to bottom.. ceiling fans generally will have a switch ..two directions for winter use..yanking all that warm air from the top of the room to the bottom

Hi Wayne, you are the ONLY RU-vidr I listen to. I bought the NARS foundation on your recommendation and it’s great but a bit “formal” for day to day wear as I don’t work anymore. I ordered the foundation & brushes for £61 and they are fantastic ! I wanted a natural look but I’ve got some Rosacea so I ordered full coverage. Fantastic! It’s so light & natural looking, I’m so pleased so thankyou so much & keep up the good work x💋

I thought the custom was overloaded too until you needed to load more on!! Okay you will get 3d quite quickly clearly! But it was my favourite it looked more natural on your skin, lovely coverage!

I tried this a while ago i had trouble at first. I have an olive tone to my skin but also some redness and my camera tends to correct the green and pick up on the red so my skintone is different in picturee. So my first match wasnt right but customer service was good and we got to a match in the end. Never repurchased though mostky because of it took a few tries and i dont want to be the awkward customer again more brands have released fair and light olive tones

I’ve been using this for about 6 months - it’s so good. Shade match is spot on (make sure you’re in natural light when you take your photos) and you can choose the finish and coverage. I chose medium coverage with a natural finish and that’s EXACTLY what I got. Very impressed.

I also purchased the foundation and like it but, I purchased it for $51, pretty high price. I just went in the website to look at the new concealer, and that is $51 and the foundation is now $65!!! Will jot be able to do again.

Get some ceiling fans and set it for winter We have tall ceilings ourselves and it made a huge difference in our comfort and gas bill

Wayne, you’re amazing! I ordered my custom made foundation from DCYPHER and it’s amazing!! Not only is it the closest matching foundation I’ve EVER had, but it’s been 12 hours and still looks incredible! No separation, no patchiness, no cakiness. I LOVE it! I LOVE you! Thank you!! I currently own 20 other foundations. It’s so hard to find a match! Or it used to be really hard to find a match! ❤✌🏼
