Seriously though, this lawsuit was initiated by an angry mother who doesn't know how parenting or website ownership works.The fact this lawsuit hasn't been denied is insane, because Roblox isn't the host, they don't endorse it, and they take down the websites as much as possible (which is difficult to do for other reasons).

@@echo_soldier It depends on the country, in some countries it would be pretty much impossible while in other countires (e.g Canada), it wouldn't be that different. I don't play Roblox, or know anything about the gambling sites, but the lawsuit seems kind of useless unless Roblox is directly promoting or enabling it in some way which I don't think they are. Like the other guy said I don't know how it hasn't been throwing out. Even if they did have something, with the profits Roblox make they would just bleed the family dry of money, as happens in any lawsuit against a corperation that goes past a settlement

Roblox community try not being gulliable as hell! (Impossible,) Discord giving the user's the ability to hide/mimic URL's are incredibly genius idea, impeccable thinking on their part. It's insane how Discord still has this as a method, I wish Discord died and we all went back to like, MySpace idfk.
To be honest, I think the problem are still the users, because 1. if you click a cloaked link it will open a warning popup showing the real url and 2. you can always check the link in the browser. I think this feature is actually good because you don't have to use url shorteners for your long and ugly links anymore or are able to create "click here" links

I'm a Roblox game developer, who got beamed a few years ago during a time when my game was on the front page of Roblox for a few months. When I got beamed, I lost all of my money and items which I planned to use for my rent and food. Unfortunately I never received my money back, but I'm so happy that RU-vidrs like you are spreading awareness about these scandalous methods. The more awareness and information we have about scammers, the more resilient we can become to prevent people like me who lose their entire monthly income in a flash of a minute; not to forget that thousands of teens and adolescents get their hard earned items stolen.
Your carrier company sells your data , that data gets breach l and gets posted onto hack forums , the scammers will look for old people data (easier to scam ) and do their homework to found their public info

Friendly reminder never run a program you don't know. Especially if it's unsigned or asks for admin perms. You can always right click an icon select properties and view the file size before installing. If it's only a couple hundred kilobytes or barely a meg, it's fake. 10 out of 10 times. And never trust task manager will always show you a virus malware pup rat or anything else. I spent my teenaged years giving kids free Minecraft with a rat trojan attached. Full PC access webcam everything. I got in alot of trouble finding CP on someone's machine I knew trying to be a dickhead and scare them with my elite skills. Was a hole mess. Never touched that shit again. Today, I can't even understand c++ the skills are long dead. But that's fine with me.
The only Roblox generator I ever fell for was a method that just told you to randomly type in numbers and hope you accidentally guessed a valid card. I never guessed one correctly, but I wonder how that person planned on resolving needing the billing name and address.
0:14 i was in a discord server a while back where this guy was doing this but he didnt make any private channels so anyone who knew what to do with the cookie would use them while he was asleep and share them in a group with everyone else who knew, eventually he caught on and banned us all though
I got my 3 year old acc scammed this way. I lost robux, progress and overall a lot of hard work. Got sent a link like this from a person i though was my "friend". Anyways huge respect for this man for spreading this to the audience so ppl will be more careful now :)

I actually got beamed before out of my 5 year old account but i didn't have any robux. I was communicating with the scammer from my alt account and they basicly just said they wanted my game progress. This was really upsetting for me as i had 5 years of progress. Stay safe and don't get scammed.

Hey, I want to show another thing that people usually falls for. Someone is gonna dm you saying that your avatar is cool and they want to do you a pfp. They are gonna ask for your HAR file that they will say is a template for your avatar. But is a file that includes all your passwords and ip, literally getting doxxed and scammed at the same time. I didn’t fall for this, but someone tried, if you see a person that does this, block them, see the mutual servers and report to the servers staff. And most important, use 2FA.
This is why we should use 2-step verification + parent pin code so the hacker need a lot more thing to do to get on our account, even they do they don't have the pin code then they can't change the password so we have enough time to do something to get rid of the hacker
