In this video, I share my experience trying out Amazon FBA for a full year. I'll reveal the ups and downs of the process and share what I learned along the way. If you're considering selling on Amazon, you won't want to miss this!
Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) is a popular way for entrepreneurs to sell products on Amazon. While there are many success stories out there, there are also a lot of things that sellers or gurus won't tell you upfront. That's why I decided to document my experience and share it with you.
By the end of the video, you'll have a better understanding of what it takes to succeed on Amazon FBA and whether it's the right choice for you. So if you're curious about what goes on behind the scenes of Amazon FBA, be sure to watch this video and thank you for your support!

I just started my first private label brand doing FBA, it was NOT cheap. The product alone cost me 15k, I could have started with a lot lest but I wanted to test the market with 16 different designs not just 1 or a few, that's how much I believed in my product. Product is just about to be at the amazon Warehouse and I already have 60 pre-orders! You have no idea how excited I am, doing what I love about something I am passionate about? Life is good if you try and take the risk.

Selling on Amazon is no walk in the park. I launched my first product in the USA while living in Poland last year, making $10k in sales. However, it came with its challenges, resulting in financial setbacks, leading me to pause. Now, I'm transparently documenting my journey on my channel, revealing the highs and lows, the hard work, and the costs involved-currently sharing the launch process of another product. No fluff, no BS. Check it out for an honest look into the reality of this entrepreneurial venture. Maybe my experience will be a reality check for those considering entering this game.

Like the others have said, it's very refreshing to see somebody who's being transparent and honest about the possibilities and pitfalls of starting an FBA. In all seriousness though, 50k for the year is not a bad supplemented income. With an average job to back that up, taking home 100k a year seems very reasonable.

Hi Tyler, thanks for sharing your story and being open and honest about the realities of Amazon FBA and e-commerce in general. I have a couple of questions if you I have the time. What is the best approach for identifying a trusted supplier? What would the profit margin be for a successful product?
@tydavisss
@tydavisss Год назад
Thanks for watching! Just make sure you are finding your supplier through credible sources. Most places to source suppliers will give trusted ratings and reviews. As for profit margin, a lot of that depends on what product you are launching and what category you are in as well as what your CAQ is. For a high level reference i try to not dip below 25% if possible. But again, it depends.

Dylon just a word of advice from someone that also started in January and also have about $4K in sales. Make sure that you aim for the 3X rule: Only buy items that you can price 3 times higher and get a 30% profit as well. If not, you'll learn, like I did (I'm glad I learned on time) that you'll lose it all to taxes next year. Also if you are using SAS make sure besides Profit and ROI % you also enable: Profit % and Breakeven. Game changer.

That chair band is cool! I’d say, if it’s going in someone’s home, it’s going to have to be in neutral colours, as no one wants to see bright red bands around their chairs. Don’t give up on that one! ☺️

Great video! I’ve Been doing Amazon FBA for about a year myself. Took me eight months to launch my first product, only lost out on a couple hundred dollars. Didn’t go so great, so my coach advised me not to restock. My second product goes live in about two weeks from now. I just realized, last week, that I might have launched my second product into a slightly overly competitive market. But I’m going out at full throttle. Lmao. (Basically my initial keyword falls between two very very very similar keywords, one is very competitive, and one is no competitive. And I know that doesn’t make much sense, but that’s what the stats show me lol) Within these two product launches I have definitely improved on my product research, and my own intuition alongside with my coach! I just came across a third product keyword/idea that literally fits all my boxes! I’m working on getting it to market currently. I will say, it is a bit hectic trying to launch two products at once, but very determined to get this business model going! Like you said, you really do learn more from the failures then you do the successes! And, it is truly a heck of a lot harder than I thought it would be lol
@tydavisss
@tydavisss Год назад
Absolutely! It sounds like you have a lot of exciting things ahead in your business. Good luck with your product launch coming up. Two at once definitely is possible. My advice is just make sure you take enough time to really optimize both listings and don't skip out on any steps. You will do awesome.

This is a good video. For neophytes in business, it always involves trial and error at first. What is important is to learn from experts. You need the right coach and someone to work with you who'll treat your business as their own... you need the right people! No matter how good your video is, no matter what you say, it boils to an end as a RANT. However, thanks for the info that hopes people will be able to pick from your experience and "failure:.

So i'm at a point where my FBA store's contract is ending and i can either opt for another contract or not... So if i chose to NOT re-up the contract, is the store with its current inventory still sustainable by itself, at least until the rest of my inventory is sold? Looking at options... at either running or closing the store.

This was an awesome and honest video. If you don't me asking 2 questions. How many private labels do you have right now that are generating 50k a year in revenue and is it fair to say, your profit is 20% after PPC and storage etc? That's like 10k a year which isn't bad at all as you'll continue to add more items as you build your brand.
@tydavisss
@tydavisss Год назад
It took launching about 6 products to get to 50k/yr. But I would say about 90% of those profits came from 2 of the products. A couple of those products are struggling and I may not continue to sell if I can't fix the issues. On those two products, I would put the profit margin closer to 30% after everything. Good questions!
@BoDesis
@BoDesis Год назад
@@tydavisss That is really insightful. Are the issues related to Amazon or the product itself? You definitely have 2 solid products. 30% after everything is unheard of these days. I'm following you for more videos and tips. I appreciate everything you do.
