Whenever Christmas is coming up I get this nostalgic Sims 2 feeling. There were many Christmasses where I played the Sims 2 for hours. Especially the Crious brothers in Strangetown give me that feeling. I think I'll do that this year as well.

I always build with the cheat ”setquartertileplacement on” to be able to put things in the center in TS2 😄 you need to activate it with ctrl + f though 👍🏼

I have very distinct, weirdly specific memories of old sims games. Some sims 1 bled into sims 2 but these memories are very strong for me. -a friend told me that the color red filled hunger needs faster, and I believed her, so every dining room had red carpet and red walls. - there's a wallpaper that's blue witg hot air balloons and i always paired it with green carpet because I thought it looked like grass. - making an entire room of the house dedicated to my pets I love building realistic, logical houses in the Sims 4, but the chaotic good energy of the old sims games is somrthing to be admired and respected.

Whenever I hear people talk about furniture in the 2000s, they talk about the wood and beige, and I think "nah, it wasn't that bad". But then I see things like this, and I rememeber that yeah, it was that bad...

I tried to play my Sims 2 game recently and my world self-destructed from too many mods and CC. lol. Trying to recreate the fun I had with that game in Sims 4 now. I had so many cool families in Sims 2 who I had to abandon. Great video btw, nice banter!

I wish I could get sims 2 working on my pc 😩 I installed the 4GB patch and everything and it still crashes for me as soon as I try to go into live/build mode.

I wanted to make it a point to actually open my sims 2 before telling you that I still have mine and it STILL WORKS! OMG you don’t know how excited I am, I’m like dying right now. I wish I still had my sims 1 too 😞 and hands down the sims 2 is the best sims ever. I’ve also been playing since they came out I was like 9 or 10 lol
