hey Tyler being a Mexican myself i know the pain of the chili powder , i liked and disliked them growing up, there are some amazing mexican candies out there with zero chili powder that you could try, i think that would only be fair to see where mexico would be on the leader board next time

As a Mexican, I loved this video. I'm a sucker (pun intended) for those 4:32 rebanaditas (watermelon shaped lollipop covered with chili powder). You should have at least washed the chili powder off and tasted the watermelon. Would have been worth it. Same with the mango one at 7:06. I feel sorry for your tongue after all of this. Most people only eat 1-2 of these candies lol.

If he had the dried salted apricots, that would have been funny because it takes a while before you get the fruit taste. I loved those darn things but only my stepmother would bring them home and I think he would trip on those lol. The mango Chile hard candy's are awesome. And a tamarind pop with the seeds are my favorite from Mexico.

As a Mexican kid growing up and eating these candies I didn’t really know a lot of these were spicy lol it’s crazy seeing other peoples reactions to this lol. And also the candies they gave you deff aren’t the best ones they just gave you a bunch of hard candies.

You can dip the candy in a cup of water. That takes away most of the chili powder and i think you'd be able to enjoy it more. (You had me laughing the ehole vid by the way!)😂

I love candy like this and had several of these but never considered any of these to be spicy they were all very mild and this is coming from a white guy

My man just cannot appreciate the beauty of sweet spice, smh. Most of the powder used in mexican candies is actually "chamoy" which is a sort of a spicy and sweet mixture, it's sooo good.

Ah yes, the candies of my childhood. Also, the chili powder makes these all better just like sprinkling Tampico on watermelon, peaches, nectarines, cucumbers, pineapple, apples, melon, and a bunch of other fruits and vegetables

as a mexican... we love Sodium and spices lol it was so fun to see you experience this your reactions were so funny. We do however have very good actual sweet treats like mazapan, glorias, paleta payaso, dulce de leche, banderitas de coco, bocadin, duvalin and MANY more you should give them a try

I'm extremely annoyed at how little variety there was here. Literally all the chili candy's are the exact same type of candy. The fruit flavor difference is just about what the child might prefer to have under the chili. There are literally so many types of candy's and snacks that are so iconic. You basically only tried 2 candies from Mexico. Tamarindo candies and chili powder lolipos

Take a shot at Ecuadorian snacks, particularly Menta Glacial mints, Manichos peanuts in chocolate, and Lemon Remix Doritos. I strongly recommend these three!

Too funny! My guy is Mexican and it's soooooo normal for him. I have come around to actually liking some of these unique chili combinations. We barely eat fruit without Tajin or some other spice/lime. LOL! It definitely is not for everyone. :)

This is so funny to me... I've lived close to Mexico my entire life. This candy isn't very spicy. You probably couldn't handle what I consider spicy.

Pulparindo has tamarind, that's the unknown flavor you're getting lol Unprocessed tamarind paste with sugar or chilli is absolutely delicious. As a Mexican, I absolutely love chilli candies, but there is so much more beyond those. I'm glad you got the cajeta lollipop, I love those.

Those are mostly children's candy from Mexico, Snacks are really sweet and addictive just to mention a few Canelitas, Gansitos, Pinguinos, Barritas, Emperador, Roles Etc... Not a fair comparison Imao.

The candy your trying to remember is called Fun Dip. Hard stick(tasted sort of like a sweetheart candy) that you dipped in powder. Or the baby bottle pop..I heard that was similar.

I just want to keep on everyone's mind that most Mexican exports ("candy", snacks, and similars) are actually milder than their Mexican market counterpart Love to see Tyler try most of my favorites, they're usually an acquired taste for most foreigners and I can definitely see why Lmao I guess the "pickle" candy could be considered pickle flavor. It is supposed to be be cucumber with chili powder and probably lime juice/citric acid. I have personally never seen it but I might have to look out for that one, looks awesome. Also you need to try non-spicy candy. There's a lot of awesome sweet treats in Mexico that you need to try and you'd probably enjoy.

A lot of Mexican candy is really sweet or covered in chili powder but the center is sweet. I will say you missed some of the better sweeter candys. I can recommend a few like rosa maspan, pallaso paletta, duvalin, and some others

Fun dip is one of my favorite candies. I like the candy stick more than the powder. I used to make sure to preserve a lot of my stick for after the powder was gone then take small nibbles until it was gone.

Pepino isnt pickle, it is cucumber but makes sense why you tasted pickle being pickles are made from cucumbers
