So I have tested out the Chrome OS but it is the special Chrome OS which is called Chrome os Flex and it can be installed on any pc. So what will you get in it? As it is free from Google but is it better than Windows let's find out in this video.

Ubuntu can be used in old laptop i am using it in hp pavilion g3 and it is performing perfectly , one can do gaming through steam ,can do coding through visual code , can edit video and photo via gimp and blender , can view edit documents using libre office Linux is at another level when it comes to free and open source

Arch linux is far better debian packages are atleast 2 3 months older and many packages are just not available.

Please dont say generally to new users that "linux" is user friendly, tell them specific lightweight distros like linux mint, cuz most general users would understand ubuntu from linux, and ubuntu isnt definitely for old laptops as it uses gnome, though i dont even recommend ubuntu to people having high specs even

I was using chrome OS flex on my Dell laptop with wd gd green sata ssd. Suddenly chrome refused to save images from Google. It said permissions denied. Previously it was working fine. Then I restarted my chrome OS laptop. But now it is saying "your system is repairing itself please wait" It is 2 days that my laptop is not working. I removed this ssd and connected with the other laptop. Ssd is not appearing in file manager of the other laptop but I can see ssd is available in device manager. There is some important data in my ssd I want to get the data back. Please guide me to solve this problem

@@Deadrose27 i installed ChromeOS on my 6 year old laptop before the windows 10 was lagging but now the laptop is working smoothly go for it! but yeah remember only google apps are there and no playstore till now

Bhai Chrome os is not full fledged computer, if you want full PC experience in old PC try out Zorin os 16 lite which is Xfce based and its super fast

Hmm So, gaming: Forget about AAA titles, Android games, but still we can do retro gaming through emulators (Linux app) Photo and Video Editing (beginner to medium level): Gimp, Kdenlive and more options (again Linux apps) So it's not that bad overall... And final thing: When you are doing everything with the help of Linux, then why not install it on your laptop or desktop 😁😁

@@manasbahl5638 bro you should have tested it before confirming it.Now you can't do anything about it.There is an option to do a trial run and check everything.I think you didn't do that.
