it's impossible for me. I always go up and down, too far or to close, to fast or to slow... I practice a lot but nothing improves really. I got 3% on perfect and 54% within parameters. and when the leader is turning, well I basically fly over him and completely lose formation. I can't hold speed and position..
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I really needed a mission like this, it's fantastic. Your flying was beautiful and the choice of music fit it wonderfully.
It's much cooler to do it with a friend though. For one, she's banking way too fast -- and I'm not sure what position this is supposed to be if it's "perfect". :) Not fingertip anyway. I mean, it's cool, but it's merely a fraction of what you can do with a friend.
hmmm. I don't know how to explain it, I'm no pro but all I do is just try to maintain the position of my aircraft like in the video and add more throttle when you're outside of the turn and less throttle when inside the turn and also add a little bit of up or down pitch when needed. hehehe
Awesome. I just downloaded this mission last Friday and have flown it maybe 6 or 7 times. First time, the last time I saw her was on take-off, then I got better. But still, at every mission end she tells me that my flying was below standard and I need to brush up on basic skills. I will keep at it though as I like the mission and hopefully at some point I will be able to stay with her the entire flight. Good job on and tanks for posting.
I tried it today for the first time. Had to restart a couple times because she got away before we even started. On my third try I got through it 94% and 47%.
I just got lucky there. I tried doing it again a few days ago and couldn't do it again. Thank you so much tho! if you have discord we can go fly some time.
Nice piloting! I guess Fly-by-wire makes this relatively easy compared to warbirds. Same mission with the F14-B feels MUCH harder, you need to try in order to understand.
