So I’ve seen lots of reviews on the Brazilian Nut Cream, and my dermatologist actually told me that I’m better off using Sol De Janiero because the Brazilian Nut Cream apparently has hormone disrupting ingredients in it.

hi loyal trader joes body butter purchaser: I've been using the coconut cream for YEARS and I love it the smell is amazing however upon trying the Brazil nut body butter, it did smell like the sol de Janeiro but everything else was entirely different because it is a very VERY different formula, I have tried both, its literally just a regular body butter nothing special, not super moisturizing but the smell STAYS so if you like the smell of the sol de Janeiro one just for the scent but dont wanna pay a million dollars I recommend the trader joes body butter, if you care for the actual formula and effects of the sol de janeiro it is NOT a good alternative. Better dupe for bum bum cream is garnieur superfood body cream in mango- amazing moisturising cream and similar scent - in aus it’s 12 dollars for a huge tub.
honestly i personally like the Trader Joe's coconut body butter more than the Brazil nut... I got the Brazil nut lotion from trader joes after trying the coconut and immediately returned it for another coconut the trader joes Brazil nut just did not smell good to me or like the sol de janiero 💀
