I completely forgot that we used to have to make our popcorn the “old school” way lol way before microwaves or microwavable popcorn 🍿. Girl...next time, for less mess, use a lid for your pan and to avoid burning the popcorn, shake your pan constantly while cooking.

We always put nutritional yeast on our popcorn growing up, it's SO GOOD. I was raised an organic vegan which made me literally obsessed with sugar as a kid but it's helped me maintain a healthy diet bc it feels natural. Funny story, when we were kids, we lived on my Nana's property in a cabin. My brother, sister and I would get up before my mom in the morning and run over to my grandmas and EAT SPOONFULS OF SUGAR from her sugar bowl as fast as we could before my mom caught us. Ahhh, good times.

Put the popcorn in a pot with your oil and put a lid on the pot. Shake the pot every now and then so it doesn't burn. Don't turn the heat too high bc coconut oil burns easy. Marzia did a video on how she makes hers!

I usually use a medium size sauce to an with 3 tablespoons of coconut oil or veggie oil for popcorn. I put it on medium-hi heat and pop in three kernels with a cover until they pop and then dump in 1/3 of a cup of popcorn which makes about a small-medium mixing bowl amount of popcorn. When the popping slows down you should dump the popcorn right in the bowl and you can use the now heated sauce pan to melt whatever you wanna put on top(:
