Especially once you get to the big name brands, marucci, victus, Rawlings, Louisville Slugger etc. And when you buy their player models you're more so paying for the name on the bat as opposed to the product. For example the marucci AP5 you'd buy at Dicks will be a lot worse than the models they'd give to their pro players.
