The sport is lacrosse. It’s similar to hockey but you throw the ball with the sticks and it’s played on grass or turf fields about the size of a soccer or football field. There are different heads and sticks designed for different positions, the head he’s testing is a normal beginner head for offensive or midfield positions. He’s testing it with face off moves, that’s another position played at midfield primarily used to start off each turnover after a goal, they then typically sub off afterwards. The face off is similar to hockey and basketball where they ball or puck is put between them and they battle for it, the different is that they fight for it on their knees/the ground with the sticks. A more flexible head provides an advantage in these situations because you can get the side rail (side of the head) to a lower position and clamp the ball under the opponents stick.
Bro In hs all my boys hyped up the mirage and it got so warped halfway through the season. Even tho it got messed up still the best head ever to me. Strung it with a “illegal” pocket. Tbh never scored with it tho 😭 now I use the stx dual it’s a old head but it never lets me down
I spent 70 bucks on a under armour stock and it lasted me 9 years still going strong just needed to be re strung recently and I’ve done everything with it
You should get a friend to do some face offs with someone on a field I think it would be cool to see a d1 lacrosse player do some legit face offs as if they were game ready and maybe switch your head around to see if you do better with a different stick. Dress and act like what easy chicks are attracted to, so I could run through a bunch if girls in my late teens early 20s. Then I realized I looked like a loser and grew up.
Ok I’m not even joking when taking face offs that rear right strut is the one to go on every warp I’ve seen or used. I bought a warp for fun and am swapping it out for a new mirage to replace my old Ion.
Bruh, why do people say they suck? there are not bad heads they're simple, easy to set up, and cheap. People think higher cost better product I've held and use a 315 dollar stick and the 100 dollar evo stick and I like the evo way better!
I never understood the hype, it always looked like a jock strap to me. Plus it was pretty clear that ppl who used it didn’t know how to string a stick.
This mesh is wild to me, it would legit break in a game (Total break, ball through and unfixable) I’ve played in 2006-2014 never seen anything like that. I’ve always strung my own. But I hope parents aren’t buying this crap product
Wait ok so $100 was for that stick? Is it like supposed to be really good? I don’t wanna sound rude but like my stick was $300 and it’s a women’s stick. Not to be rude I’m genuinely curious because most of my teammates have $300 sticks like me.
