For new naturals,pour the flaxseed gel in a metal strainer while the gel is hot. Save the seeds for making a flaxseed a deep conditioner.Flaxseed is excellent for length retention ❤❤

When using the gel of any sort..you need to pair it with an oil to break the mask. This mask is what protects the hair. Just like chebe or cloves if you leave it in as a mask. You can control the "hold" of it by adding varying amounts of oil and water. As with most, it's not what you use that is bad...it's how you applied it.

Try using a strainer on top of the pot … immediately separate when done so the gel does become thick .. put into container and make use of the flaxseed in the strainer . Like blend it it with half cup water strain it use shampoo and use it as shampoo
