It would be neat to look at some of the makeup tutorials that were presented in Seventeen magazine at the time. I remember as a pre-teen in the late 90s/early 2000s and a teenager in the 2000s, that magazine always had some sort of makeup tutorial that I would fail to follow.

Watching this in 2021, this makeup look is like one of the most trending looks I’ve ever seen since it’s so natural. I think back in the day like in 2016-2018 everyone just wanted bold brows, bold lips and eyeshadow etc. So it’s nice to see a change for once.

I know this comment will probably get buried, but I just want to thank you for putting subtitles in the video! Not those auto generated subtitles! Many don’t realized how many people need the subtitles whether it’s because viewers are hearing impaired or because they just like reading them, it really helps the viewing experience!

Makeup tends to do that. If you look back in history it goes from really heavy to really light. Thing Georgia (big powdered wigs and blush) to Victorian era when it was almost a crime to wear makeup. At the moment in 2018 we're at peak level so soon people are gonna start choosing a more natural look again
