Turning a major key from a 9.6 into a 9.8 is well worth the risk. IMO. Once I take Jim's CPR course and maybe get half as good as him, you can bet your sweet bippy I'll be cracking a few of my uncleaned and unpressed graded books for a grade or two bump.
Are u going 2give PSA a try? I am... I like that their cases will have UV protection 4displaying ... Glad u got the grade bump! Keep up the good content
Makes you wonder how those "defects" occurred. I'm sure you didn't submit it like that (especially the bit of debris and bend at the corner and dirt). Once again, quality control issues. Good work correcting their issues.
Well he taught himself how to press and clean and has immense success and he’s pretty spot on with grading. He shows what he does and provides his grading tool for everyone to find success instead of paying someone to press.
Ouch, I definitely have a big head but hopefully not in that way. :) I think of it more as a challenge, and I only choose books that I am 100% sure either should already be 9.8 (undergraded) or have defects that can be removed with CPR. And it's not really a huge risk, I can always resell them for a minor loss if they come back 9.6 again. Sometimes I've even made a profit reselling
