Hey guys! A NEW Hello Fresh review video is NOW LIVE on my channel, reviewing their RAPID RANGE! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G9LbXfRMlw8.html
I'm.currently trying hello fresh now on my 2nd of 3 meals and already ordered another box for in a couple of weeks, very impressed, easy and tasty meals. Gone for chicken pie, mango chicken wraps and mushroom risotto, so far the first 2 are great and risotto tomorrow
I'd heard of hello fresh and always thought it would be a waste of money but since a friend recommended it to me I've used it for the past month and absolutely love it!!! The range of fresh ingredients, so much vegetables we have never eaten so much veg and I love the use of fresh herbs too!! Ive not had a disappointing meal yet, they are full of flavour and goodness. Just get a few bits from the shop for lunch for the week and I'm a complete convert!!
I live in the USA, and for 45$ that is cheap! I know we have 3 in our family, I have a husband and 17 year old son and our grocery bill is 125-150& a week. My husband and I don't eat much, we have a piece of fruit and cereal for breakfast, my husband will have a sandwich at noon. Then we'll have our evening meal. My son eats through out the day. He's average eater for a teenage boy, lol! I wish we could get 5 meals for 45$. I think everything is more expensive here! That same meal deal of 5 meals at regular price on Hello Fress would probably run 75$, just guessing. We've thought about taking the plunge, the meals look fantastic. We enjoy cooking too! Jill Gross
Again.. smashing review. Great personality which helps to keep watching and listning. Lovely couple. Bob on meals. Thanks again. Well done and thankyou for taking the time to record it for those of us out here
You had some really tasty looking meals. I'm in US and have been using Hello Fresh since Dec. I like the interesting flavors and the convenience of getting all the ingredients in the brown bag. Our delivery is a 12 hour window.. 8 am to 8 PM. I did have one box come rather late in the day so I usually cook my meals the day after delivery.
I'm in the US and same here. Because of the pandemic I am home, so it doesn't matter. I got those big ice packs, and put them in my refrigerator until they melt thinking they might lower my power bill since the fridge would not have to work as hard. I like HF so far, all good to excellent meals with only one blah meal.
I love Hello Fresh! I do have a question that has nothing to do with it though. How the heck do you guys across the pond get by with those TINY refrigerators? Lol 😆
We dont need huge fridges cos we have supermarkets close by in the majority of the UK. In the US many people have to do like 1 month shop cos the grocery stores are so far away sometimes.
The veggie options in the US are not so great. I like to ... don't have to ... eat vegan, and the HF veggie options all seem to have a lot of cheese in them, and also my second delivery I signed up for veggie and they did not have very many veggie selections. A lot of dairy and cheese ... too much - though most were very good. Same with the pescatarian here ... there was maybe 1 selection that had any fish in it at all. I am still enjoying HF and sticking with it, but less meals per week though.
@@justgivemethetruth I’ve just changed to gousto as the hello fresh veggie meals are so repetitive, not sure if they have it in the US but they do have a vegan option on there x
Great Video, I`m expecting my first Hello Fresh box tomorrow, I have opted for the street food chilli cheese Smokey sausage, Chicken & plum stir fry, Mango chutney glazed chicken wraps, Herby burgers & Fusilli ragu al forno, I cant wait for all these meals
What you people need to realise is that it's easy to join hello fresh but nearly impossible to leave. My wife tried to leave a few weeks ago. She went on her profile and clicked all the correct options. Still got boxes She never even ordered. Called them to cancel, but still got boxes She never ordered. It wasn't until I called them and told them straight that they let go. So be ready.
I have to say...I didn't have that experience. I have stopped my subscription a few times in the past, and always found it very simple to do so via the live chat function on the website - just tell them when you want to stop, and they do it. Sad to hear you had that experience, though.
What does the line "1 of your 5 a day" refer to? I'm kind of amazed at how many people from the UK are using and reviewing Hello Fresh, and to see differences between UK and US.
It's a public health message that our country/government/nhs has promoted for years, encouraging us to eat at least 5 different portions of fruit and veg each day.
Omg your frig is so small …. Many Americans use these size frig for cold drink …and have a double side my side in the kitchen ..then a full freezer in the garage….many shop for bulk…considering trying hello fresh
how long can the ingredients last in the fridge? for example, i can only take delivery on a friday - will it still be ok cooking the final meal of five on the following friday?
Do u get free boxes in exchange for a review? I have seen a lot of bad reviews of this company. The food is not fresh and items are missing. Annoying as if it wasn't, they look really good otherwise
No, I am not given free boxes in exchange for a positive review - I have more integrity that that! I say what I see, and my experience has genuinely only been a positive one thus far. If there are negatives on future weeks, I will be sure to call them out to my subscribers.
@@FromTheAsh okay thanks. I'll get one. So many RU-vid reviews are because they get free items or paid so it's hard to tell sometimes if things are as good as they look
Let me know how you get on - I have a link in the description of my videos (not exclusive to me - every Hello Fresh subscriber has one) which will give you £20 off your first box. Feel free to use.
Not true - I have had the time to learn to cook properly & still enjoy these meals too, as often they’re a nice way to try new meals and flavours that you wouldn’t make yourself at home otherwise! There’s a place for a nice meal which has taken hours of tlc, but some people have really busy lives & need to eat fast - for them this is a good option! And cooking with Hello Fresh is actually a great way to learn to cook, as the instructions are plain as day & really talk you through how to make the meals 👍
That’s the weird thing about this service... I wouldn’t call the people lazy who use it but I don’t think they are informed about cooking or the ease of access to recipes online. There are so many easy and delicious options online.
@@ktsterlin9304 but one of the appeals of this box is, you don't need to buy large jars or tubs etc of ingredients that you might only want for a couple of meals, so it's convenient and no waste. And it's not lazy at all because you have to cook the meals from scratch . It's just more prepped ingredients that's all. You still have to make it. Much better than just eating a ready meal etc.
@@ktsterlin9304 Again not true. Read my above comment - this is sheer convenience and fits MY lifestyle perfectly. My wife works until late most days so often I don’t want to be scrambling around looking for ingredients to cook for us while she finishes up - I want something tasty but quick, and this is that. All the ingredients are there, the recipes are fast, and it works for us, but I get it won’t be for everyone!
Lol I used to be a chef these things are a great idea and even if you do it once or twice it gives you an idea of portion size instead of throwing away loads of stuff at the end of the week dunno how many times my mother chucks out a bag of carrots or potatoes that have started rooting 😂😂
Thankfully we have the choice available to us, to eat meat or not to eat it. I absolutely respect those who might choose not to, and would hope that my choices would be respected also.
