Alternative viewer takes on Quartet, what my stars ratings mean, how do I buy IEMs, and more in the Q&A 👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3ANLyI2HVrc.html
I went ahead and picked these up and I love them. You’re definitely right on the muddy bass but having good bass response is nice and makes it easy to eq. After putting a good eq on them they sound amazing. Brings a lot of clarity to the bass when you tune it down just a little.
Imo all iem's that are above the budget end should come with a case that fits in a pocket. Its great have annice big chunky case but you also need a pocket case along side it
I love the kiwi ears cases, perfect size imo. Some people seem dislike them though, meh. They are hard enough to protect them and slim enough to pocket it.
I have too and i love the low mids even better than my sony ier z1r not the same bass rumble but the quartet to me has nice mid bass over sub bass ..and I too love how it sounds with both switches down paired with a fiio btr7 it is even better
Great review, Thanks! Just wait for the SuperNova to arrive and I’ll be about ready to declare Endgame. Will still be open to considering exceptional IEMs if they get 5 stars though.
Mine didn't come with a sim ejector tool probably because it's a review unit and was earlier than the first batch. I find these underwhelming at first with the bass being too prominent and untidy, but eventually I came to like the sound of it after trying out different eartips and sources. I still like the Galileo more though but great review as always Mark!
The Aful x Juzear played on Schiit 🤣. Here in South Africa, the difference between a Civic and 3 Series is about US$4200, not a very big difference in monthly repayments over 5 years, while the BMW has a much higher street cred.
Does the Orchestra Lite have noticeably more details than the Quartet that it's worth the price diff? Also, with just the stock tuning and tips, is the Orchestra Lite better or as good as the Blessing 2? With that said, is it better than the older $500+ IEMs?
I’d say the ol is on par with the b2. The orchestra has no vents though, so fit might be uncomfortable with silicone tips. Definitely tip roll, I chose spiral dots or dekoni foams.
Fantastic! I'm really curious, in the graphic the bass and mids seems very similar to the Etymotic er2xr, but I am a little bit worried about the treble around 10 to 12k... Let's see
May you recommend me the similar price to Quartet? Fitting and Isolation will be the 1st priority to me as I will only use that on outgoing. For owned IEM with good fitting to me currently: Tin Hifi C3(it's the best fitting IEM I tried/owned); kiwiears Quartet(Good fitting just behind tin hifi C3 a bit) For owned but sold finally as bad fitting/no good isolation to me(even eartips rolling): Tangzu Warner; Z300; S12pro; EA500; Wu Zetian Heyday; Really got a weird ear when many guys praise the fitting of EA500 but tried most brands of eartips(over 20 including comply already!)but just can't get a good fitting and bad isolation.. Fitting of Tin Hifi C3 is the best to me, it fit in my ear under any eartips, and even hard to take it out! Really hope there is a upgraded Tin Hifi C3 with the similar shape... Many Thanks..
Fh7 or fh9 would be the obvious upgrades. I think fh7 might be closer to the fh3, but the bass on fh9 is chefs kiss good. Especially if you mod it with tuning filters on the vent closest to the nozzle and use the green treble nozzle. Endgame quality right there.
These are exceptional for gaming in the price bracket, especially for TacFPS games. EM6L is going to be the main competitor at the same-ish price. The Truthear Zero Blue is going to be about as good for half the price for purely gaming, though not quite as wildly fun
@@SuperReview You mentioned that the FH3 has more emphasis on sub bass. I already have the T3+, which, also has similar bass at least base on your description. How would you compare the two?
